ASUS VivoBook X705 17.3 In Celeron 8GB 1TB Laptop

Can anyone give an opinion as to if this laptop is worth buying for 16000 thb
I just want for basic computer use- email, Kodi, browsers
No gaming or need for fancy graphics

If all you want is email and browser searches it should be fine but not sure about Kodi as Celeron processor is slow and will use part of the 8gb memory to operate. The big question is what operating system you will be using, Windows or Linux. Windows takes up more memory/processor so Linux would be preferable.

I think 17.3" is a big screen for just email and web browsing. Makes it a bit more luggable than portable as well. If there's 13" - 15" option, that may fit the bill better. ASUS are my first-choice and I am in the market for a replacement for my 6 year-old 13" i5 machine. I travel far and use the laptop for work so portability is essential.
