5G in Udon/Thailand

Post by jopann » April 14, 2020, 8:23 pm

I saw that AIS has some initial 5G coverage in Bangkok (link below), has anyone heard if/when 5G coverage is coming to Udon?

https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/18 ... in-bangkok

Thanks

For those that can't wait for 5G to arrive, try this on for size:

Colossians 2:8-10...See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily; and you are complete in HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.

Deep Space... it's no longer just between your ears.

Actually, I was going to post a tongue-in-cheek but ultimately facile comment linking 5G with Covid-19 last night but thought why should I be the first to do a threadphuck here?

Arsonists attack phone mast serving NHS Nightingale hospital

Vodafone boss hits out at ‘deluded’ 5G conspiracy theorists after incident in Birmingham

"A mobile phone mast serving the emergency NHS Nightingale hospital in Birmingham is one of the latest targeted by arsonists who wrongly believe 5G technology is linked to the spread of coronavirus. ...“It’s heart-rending enough that families cannot be there at the bedside of loved ones who are critically ill,” said Jeffery, in a post on LinkedIn. “It’s even more upsetting that even the small solace of a phone or video call may now be denied them because of the selfish actions of a few deluded conspiracy theorists.”

Hanging offense IMHO.

Radiation is all around us.
5G wireless technology is a form of non-ionizing radiation. And so are the current 4G wireless technology and every other generation prior to that.
Non-ionizing radiation is relatively low-energy radiation that doesn't have enough energy to ionize atoms or molecules. It's located at the low end of the electromagnetic spectrum. ... Although considered less dangerous than ionizing radiation, overexposure to non-ionizing radiation can cause health issues.
How close are you to the source of the radiation?
The radiation Intensity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance as the distance doubles, the area quadruples and thus, the initial radiation amount is spread over that entire area and is therefore reduced, proportionately.
One part of the 5G will use spectrum in the existing LTE frequency range (600 MHz to 6 GHz) and also in millimeter wave bands (2,450–8,600 MHz).
Modern microwave ovens operate at the frequency 2,450 MHz
A microwave oven heats water because the microwave radiation couples with the water molecule. The microwaves turn the water molecules back and forth at approximately the frequency of the microwaves, imparting energy to them.
If your are concerned with electromagnetic radiation. Consider this the next time you go to the hospital to have an MRI.
When this technology first came out it was referred to as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging. I have worked with Professors and Graduate Students at the University where I worked and we used laboratory equipment using this technology in Chemistry and Biology labs. When the technology migrated into the medical field it was changed later on to MRI because the word Nuclear made some people uneasy about the technology.
MRI or magnetic resonance imaging is a radiology technique scan that uses magnetism, radio waves, and a computer to produce images of body structures. ... The magnet creates a strong magnetic field that aligns the protons of hydrogen atoms, which are then exposed to a beam of radio waves. The atoms will resonate at frequency that is dependant to what the atom is coupled to. It is based on the theory that The Physics students learn to run calculations on in quantum mechanics to determine the resonant frequency of a particular coupling of an atom.
I worked at the University for 30 years. I miss working with and being around the Faculty and the Students. The years go by too fast.

This map says 5G already here.
