Thanks for a great Sunday, George. Popped in for a couple of hours and stayed for 4 ( I think). Sunday lunch excellent and atmosphere in the pub very friendly with lots of good conversations and laughs.

Anoither fine meal today at 1230, lunchtime , however I was saddened by the lack of punters, some may think it is too hot, others feel that it is not for them. I can tell you in all honesty , I am a fan of good well cooked and reasonably priced food and like one or two other places this establishment has that. So the dearth of people dining at a SUNDAY lunchtime seems unusual. I mean you need energy to keep cool as well as keep warm, therefore food is imperative.

Well George, the food gets better. A simple traditional cottage pie, but made with ground prime Australian beef and English mushy peas, what a great taste. You certainly have some good ideas. What next?

LUCKILY WE MANAGED TO SECURE A HEALTHY STOCK LATE LAST NIGHT, THANKS TO JON AT 3DM.

SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO LAST SEVERAL MONTHS.

No problem George ,,,you just caught me at the right time with the last of the Magners cans in the truck and saved me moving em twice ...... btw SM will be distributing Magners Original apple in the big bottles no more cans ,,in truth the bottles worked out too expensive and never sold in Isaan where as the cans were prolific ... im sure the NEW KOPPERBERG NAKED APPLE with go down great ....thats when you finally get thru what you bought last night.

Enjoyed the pizza , would love to get over for Sunday Roast some time .

SUNDAY LUNCH.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYBODY WHO CAME YESTERDAY, AND APOLOGISE FOR THE SLOW SERVICE AND CONFUSION.
WE WERE TOTALLY UNPREPARED FOR THE NUMBERS. THE STAFF WERE IN SHOCK, AND WITH SO MANY NEW FACES, SOME COMING FROM MANY KILOMETERS AWAY, THEY WERE IN A TIZZY.

OUR FIRST ORDERS FOR ROAST LUNCH CAME AT 11 A.M. AND BY 2 P.M. WE HAD SOLD OUT.

I CAN ONLY APOLOGISE ONCE AGAIN TO THE MANY PEOPLE WHO GRACIOUSLY ACCEPTED AN ALTERNATIVE LUNCH.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN IN ALL MY YEARS RUNNING RESTAURANTS SO MANY PEOPLE ARRIVE WITHIN MINUTES OF EACH OTHER.

IN FACT IT WAS REMARKED MORE THAN ONCE THAT THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE THAN ON ST PATRICKS DAY WHEN THE FOOD WAS FREE.

MANY THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.

NEXT WEEK WE WILL BE BETTER PREPARED WITH MORE ROAST AND EXTRA STAFF.

Yes we have thai food, and Pizza which always goes down well with Thai kids.
