Re: Great Breakfast
Sooooooo many answers to the questions.
Air Fryers are the future
Mine is similar to what Stan posted but the el cheapo version. I think it was 1000 baht in Tesco but they seem to keep having deals on so its probably cheaper now
What is air fried? Everything I can think of
Croissants from Big C are made delicious & flaky
Currant buns have the sugar caramelised
Banana muffins are livened up
Bread batons from Makro are just like fresh from the oven
Then more conventional cooking
Chicken wings
Chicken leg
Bacon
Sausages
Chips
Sweet potato crisps
& warming up without being soggy like from a microwave
Hot dogs
Chicken nuggets
Frozen chips
Potato waffles
All variety of pies & crumbles
The list is endless.....

Re: Great Breakfast
1.04pm for breakfast, obviously you have no roosters chasing their nuts. Nice plate, where?
Re: Great Breakfast
Hi Niggly
What capacity is best to buy and did you fry those eggs in it?
Can you put the whole meal in and cook together?
Are they easy to clean and do they come with all necessary accessories or do you need to buy them?
Thanks

Re: Great Breakfast
Hehe, that’s the Brickhouse Mega Breakfast so I’ve no idea if they used an air fryer
However, to try & answer your questions.
What capacity? Ours is 3.8 litres & is plenty adequate for 2 adults & a 3yo portions
Whole meal together? Never tried. If The Girl wants nuggets & chips it all goes in together. I once did a sausage on one side & some chips on the other for Mrs N & that turned out okay. You’re really supposed to cook portions so it’s not too full & the air can circulate though.
Easy to clean? I find so. Clean as soon as finished with it so the crud doesn’t bake on too hard. I don’t use any “dry” coatings as it tends to fly around inside. Just wash in the normal sink with dish soap.
Accessories? None that I’m aware of. Just chuck your stuff in, set the temperature & timer & away you go. Oh, I did buy an oven glove

Re: Great Breakfast
The Girl wanted quail eggs so I just had those soft boiled with salt & black pepper
Oh, & a flagon of Red Cup

...and a beer.

Re: Great Breakfast
Which was just the appetizer apparently.
Khanom jeen.

Re: Great Breakfast
Big C croissants with strawberry jam & a mug of Red Cup
UM Top Tip
The bags of 6 croissants seem to last forever if stored in a fridge & livened up before eating in the air fryer but put the bag on its side as it stops them “deflating”

Re: Great Breakfast
I doubt a bag of 6 will last forever if you're eating them 3 at a time
Re: Great Breakfast
^ I never said how many bags of 6 I bought at a time

Re: Great Breakfast
Just a cup of Red Cup while waiting for everyone this morning.
Probably 5Star chicken & sticky rice washed down with an Amazon 50% sweet latte in the not too distant future.
I like automatic cars, you can scoff & drink without worrying about changing gear
& the line is cast

Croissants & strawberry jam (note to self: need more)
Soft boiled quail eggs with a salt & black pepper dip (the surface is still moist as they’ve just been peeled)
