Post by tamada » April 4, 2021, 9:56 pm

The Scottish baker in Songkhla is taking orders for rowies this coming week. The more the merrier so bulk buy and save yourself a few bob.

I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

Vegetarian options use a substitute which is much lower in fat and nearly taste the same

Good to know. I've never seen before. I've only known vegans to use shortening or butter.

Sorry to be pedantic but are Vegans not allowed to use any animal products at all. Nearly qualify, as just use beer and whisky most of the week.

So the vegan versions are not really Rowies but a vegan substitution for a real Rowie. I once questioned a vegan as to how they could sell 'Scotch Egg's' got all upset with me because she claimed they looked like real Scotch Eggs but were made of vegetable products.???
