Thanks Mak & to all for the advice, it went quite well. Registered for new passport & got my income letter notarized.

Was there at 8:15, #50 on the list and out by 10AM.

There were probably 70-80 people but it was a breeze, kudos to the ACS team & wardens for such an efficient system.

Got there about 10:55, signed in (#115), no line and 3 ahead of me being waited on. A minute later I was being asked by a staffer how I may be helped and 5 minutes after that I received my completed notarized affidavit. Big thanks to the ACS staff and embassy wardens =D>

the hours were 8-12 so all of us former military that got there prior to 8 (at least 50!!) had a longer wait than those who wandered in later... Thanks to the VFW lads for assisting the Consular outreach staff...

We got there at 9:45.......number 98 while they were waiting on #50. We were done by 10:30. Thanks to the wardens/VFW for keeping things organized and freeing up the embassy folks to do embassy business. By the time I left, 110+ people had signed in.
As always, a big tip of the hat to the ACS folks for taking the time to come to Udon.....and save us the headaches of going to Bangkok.

Another successful Outreach in Udon. 118 people were served. A big thanks to the 3 ACS staff who came to Udon. Very efficient service. The majority of people came early. By 10:30 the majority had left. Between 11 and 12 they were only a few walk-ins.

"•Notarial Services and Certified Copies ($50.00 or Baht 1,650.00). This includes income affidavits for retirees in Thailand. "

so should this read "This includes, but is not limited to, income affidavits...." ???

As in, they can certify other copied documents???

I assume so, but my drill instructor taught me about "assuming" things.

I have taken a taxis to the Centara for this event in the past. This year I would like to drive my car. Can anyone tell me where to park. I think it is too early for the mall parking, so should I park in the hotel parking garage or the outside lot adjacent to the hotel where the motorbikes are parked. Thank you in advance.
