In Udon Thani, consular staff will be available to provide services at
the following location:

Wednesday, October 28, 2009, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Centara Hotel &
Convention Centre Udon Thani, at 277/1 Prajaksillapakhom Road, Muang,
Udon Thani, 41000, Thailand. Telephone: 04-234-3555.

The following consular services will be available during our outreach
visits:
* Passport renewal applications ($75.00 or Baht 2550 for adult
passports, and $85 or Baht 2890 for a child's passport)
* Notarial Services and Certified Copies ($30.00 or Baht 1020).
This includes income affidavits for retirees in Thailand.
* Social security, VA, or other federal benefits question will be
limited, but we will try to provide forms and answers
(Please bring exact change!)

NOTE: We cannot process extra visa pages during our outreach trips. We
can accept applications, but the passports will have to be brought back
to the Embassy for final processing the next day. The passports will
then have to be picked up in person (or by a friend upon presentation of
a letter of authorization signed by the applicant) at the Embassy. We
regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Additionally, Consular Reports of Birth cannot be processed during
consular outreach trips.

If you have any questions, please email [email protected] or call the
American Citizen Services Unit at 02-205-4049.
:D I'm happy...I need to renew my passport.

Just to clarify ... free coffee and danish is provided to nice Americans utilizing the services of ACS, right?

Wouldn't want a gaggle of old cheap Charles' sitting around stuffing their gobs, swilling back the brew and spewing off 'bout Souf'ampton and Ports'mouff football. :-& *shiver* (might reconsider driving down to Bangkok)

Just sayin'. :D

Well there was no free coffee and Danish, but I want to applaud the Embassy staff as they were very warm, outgoing and personable! They eager to help and extremely friendly. What a contrast to the majority of my experiences dealing with personel reprersenting Gov't agencies, especially here in Thailand! =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

There was about 25 Americans there by 0830 and it was nice meeting a few of them as I had never seen them before with 1 exception!

Their visit easily saves me 7,000+ in roundtrip airfare, taxis, probably overnight hotel, and putting up with BKK for a day.
Not only good service, but good service with a smile! I was there about 10:30 and they were up to line 45.
