I assume that everyone agrees on Mono? I have added this to the event menu with details and a map.

Thanks, I've noted that the next Udonmap Forumites meeting is this saturday - 3rd June at the Mono Mansion, which has live music.

Don't be mislead by the latest Forum Topics Front page heading referring to 3rd May! If you open it the text does refer to 3rd June.

mono place sounds good, been there before, had fun, band not too intrusive. should be in attendance after missing april may meets. already booked my room, i think 350 b, softer bed than top mansion and no need for tuk tuk that night. cya all there.

Hopefully will be at July's meet
By my calender, that will be the 1st July as its the first Saturday in July.

Unless theres any people from out of Thailand who cannot make it until a week or so later - is everyone in agreement to pencil in the next meet for the 1st July ?

If so, then a venue has to be chosen - suggestions forwarded please - as always'

Last time thought I was having a good time with the local Udom map forum, went to the wrong pub, plenty farang, thought it strange all had farang misses there to, just 6 tourist visiting with wifes, Still waiting for first meeting.

Always seem to be out in the jungle experdition with the local school when meeting is on.

December next trip, hope to catch the January's meeting.

have some drinks there, then pop over to fuzzy kens for a few, as there hasnt been a meeting there yet,both are Sponsors of udon map...

Think that farang has a great idea for the next monthly meeting. It would be nice to welcome the new couple in thier business venture and to do the same for Fuzzy Ken's. You got my vote on that. Also there is a new coffee shop opening up 2 doors down from me. I will post pictures of the place when it's finally finished, as they are still working on it. Not quite sure what all will at the coffee shop. The only problem with the place is the parking facilities are very limited, so a motorcycle or somlaw would be the best transportation to the new coffee shop. Also, what I can see is that it will be a small place. The owner does speak some English. My understanding is that beer will also be sold at the new coffee shop.

As it stands at the moment - I may or may not be back in town for the next meeting due on the 1st July.

I think Farangs suggestion of the Aussie Pub/Fuzzy Ken's is an ideal choice and on their opening night too - should be quite a party ????

Seems like others like the idea too - so unless there are any objections - perhaps we should pencil in the next Udonmap Meet as being on the 1st July commencing in the Aussie Pub at around 8pm.

Hopefully see you there.

This old American will join your meeting. I visited Udon Thani last June/July searching for the best place to retire in Thailand. I'm here again for another 6 weeks.

Hi everyone, this is just a quick reminder to say that the July udonmap.com get together will kick off at the Aussie Pub Saturday evening @ 8pm. A map and details can be found here.

England will be playing at 10pm and will be shown on their large screen TV.

John and Meow take over ownership of the Aussie Pub on Saturday, why not drop by and say hi, they're very friendly people.
