There's a bit of a kerfuffle about the "PC pronoun" movement with stories of those hanging onto 'old school' or traditional constructs about gender being abused and pilloried for the crime of saying he or her or him or she. They even suggest that using this age-old gender description is discriminatory.

In the US, this story has garnered attention.

In Canada.

Meanwhile, this has popped up in the UK media.

Meanwhile, I'm with Bill Maher on this.

More so after seeing this nonsense.

^ Yes, not often you see a real woman wanting to 'take it out outside' with a nerdy looking sales guy.

With the exception probably of Scunthorpe.

take it outside , yes very manly talk. i've met many gay guys and they come in all shapes and sizes, girly types and butch types . but i've yet to meet a violent one. maybe it is something to do with trying to change nature by using hormones ? it seems to effect their mental state, where as gay guys just accept that their gay and just get on with life. am i allowed to use the term gay ? .

I'm not a fan of Ben Shapiro but here's another 'lady' threatening him with GBH because Ben called 'her' "sir".

I really dont see where the problem is here ......
We all (nearly all for the Irish & a few others) get issued with a document when we are born. It's called a birth registration, and on that form is a column headed "sex" ....If you are in some way confused I suggest you refer to this legal document, as what is written in this column will provide the answer to the very simple question

It's them pesky, new-fangled biology deniers that's getting rowdy but.

Or rather, it's them who apparently accept their own gender but feel the need to get upset on behalf of those who can't make their minds up whether to stand or sit.

I had an instance only once mind you when working as a Gaoler in the nick a PERSON was brought in. IT ( he did not wish to accept he was a male or a female ) and refused a male cell, and refused the female cell, so I placed him in the exercise yard, as it was winter he soon decided that he would identify as a male, sadly for him all male cells were full so he had to wait another two hours . Next time he is arrested I bet he will quickly decide which one he is.
His lawyer complained but as all comments are noted on the Custody record, it was a pointless complaint .

I would wager that most gay people don't want to be 'in your face' and feel the constant need for rights or representation in everything. A quote from a contributor to one of the Dr. Jordan Peterson's very enlightening YouTube's as follows:
I couldn’t agree more! As a gay man I’m sick and tired of having pride flags stuck on everything, pride parades and gay people speak on my behalf. I don’t want to be looped in with the rest of the gay society. I just wanna be me and be left alone and be appreciated for who I am as a person, not because I’m gay.

Google engineer suspended after saying AI chatbot was sentient

Blake Lemoine's interaction with bot convinced him it had developed independent thought and was a 'sweet kid who wants to help the world'

“I know a person when I talk to it,” he told the Washington Post. “It doesn't matter whether they have a brain made of meat in their head or if they have a billion lines of code. I talk to them. And I hear what they have to say, and that is how I decide what is and isn't a person.”

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/0 ... -old-says/

I reckon Mr Lemoine needs to get laid.

Sentient being. Sheesh...
