Plus of course, since that date:

- 4000+ US servicemen killed

- $1+ trillion in monetary terms

- 117,000 (estimated) civilian deaths

Missouri doesn't much care for Obama either.... at least the redneck rodeo fans.

During the bull riding segment a rodeo clown appeared wearing an Obama mask.

“The announcer wanted to know if anyone would like to see Obama run down by a bull,” the posting said. “The crowd went wild. He asked it again and again, louder each time, whipping the audience into a lather.”

Another clown then apparently joined the performance.

“One of the clowns ran up and started bobbling the lips on the mask and the people went crazy,” the posting said. “Finally a bull came close enough to him that he had to move so he jumped up and ran away to the delight of the onlookers hooting and hollering from the stands.”

What kind of public servant, leader, president does crap like this with so many Americans struggling and out of work?

I'll tell you what kind ... the kind who doesn't give a damn about The People.

First dog Bo is airlifted to Obama holiday home
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldne ... -home.html

Most families put their pets in a kennel or have a neighbor or family member care for it. Or they bring their pets with them. Not the Royal Obama Family.

The Obama dog was flown to Martha's Vineyard on one of two MV-22 Ospreys, which takes off like a helicopter and flies like an airplane. This is reportedly the first time such aircrafts were used for a president’s vacation.

The 8-day vacation requires 70 rooms for Secret Service agents. The Obamas are staying at a $7.6 million, 5,000-square foot mansion on nine acres, which puts the Obamas closer to town. More road closures and detours for residents who live there, but who cares, right?

Residents were told to email the WH with complaints.     Then they can be on the "Enemies List."

Baucus warns of 'huge train wreck' enacting ObamaCare provisions

Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) said Wednesday he fears a "train wreck" as the Obama administration implements its signature healthcare law.

Baucus, the chairman of the chamber's powerful Finance Committee and a key architect of the healthcare reform law ...
But it's a good start ... according to some folks.

WBU, you do not understand the Liberal mindset. You should never judge Liberalism by it's results... totally unfair. Therefor the only judgement that can be placed on Liberalism is it's intent. Thus you have Obamacare. 2700 pages of feel good gobbledegook that nobody found time to read, (when you look at the bill it is actually 2 bills; 906 pages are dedicated to the Affordable Health Care Act; the rest is citation. A second bill regarding student loans and legal precedent. The two together equal 2,700 pages). Baucus is now more worried about getting re-elected than he is about feeling good. Look for many more staunch libs who will backtrack away from Obama feel good as we get deeper into campaign mode.

Gotta agree. It's always about "feel good" intent, which is why there are always so many unintended consequences.

ABC News ...

Appeals Court: Obama Violating Law on Nuke Site
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStor ... e-19946852

And it's not the only law he's violating.
In a rebuke to the Obama administration, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has been violating federal law by delaying a decision on a proposed nuclear waste dump in Nevada.

By a 2-1 vote, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ordered the commission to complete the licensing process and approve or reject the Energy Department’s application for a never-completed waste storage site at Nevada’s Yucca Mountain.

In a sharply worded opinion, the court said the nuclear agency was “simply flouting the law” when it allowed the Obama administration to continue plans to close the proposed waste site 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas. The action goes against a federal law designating Yucca Mountain as the nation’s nuclear waste repository.

“The president may not decline to follow a statutory mandate or prohibition simply because of policy objections,” Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh wrote in a majority opinion, which was joined Judge A. Raymond Randolph. Chief Judge Merrick B. Garland dissented.
The case involving Yucca Mountain could create some problems down the road for the ObamaCare mandates. The court has stated that the Obama administration cannot ignore statutory law. The law requires the completion of the licensing process for the storage site in Nevada. That includes a final decision on approval.

Obama avoided complying complying with the federal law that designated Yucca Mountain as a repository for nuclear waste.

Similarly, Obama has ignored statutory law in ObamaCare in order to delay enforcement of the employer mandate, out-of-pocket caps on insurance, and a few other aspects of the law. The Yucca Mountain case provides a similar scenario and could be legal precedent that would likely apply to an appeal of the waivers unilaterally imposed by President Obama.

The appeals court explicitly stated that a failure to bind a President to the statute has important implications for the principle of limited government. Once Congress passes a bill and a President signs it, it becomes binding law on everyone -- including the POTUS. In order to “waive” a mandate at this point, Obama has to go back to Congress and ask them to modify the statute accordingly. Obama is not going to do that for fear that the House will want to crush it all. Because of the mess that has been unfolding with ObamaCare almost weekly, the Senate might actually go along with it and stop the whole thing.

Obama has convinced himself that statutes don’t apply to him. The DC court of appeals has just given Obama a basic lesson in constitutional law. The House could even file suit under this precedent to force Obama to come back to Congress.

This could also eventually apply to Obama's ignoring of immigration law -- his Executive Order DREAM Act.

Gallup Poll ... spiking, but downward.

Obama's Economic Approval Slips to 35%
Was 42% in June; decline mirrors drop in overall approval
http://www.gallup.com/poll/163985/obama ... slips.aspx

Huge disconnect. Americans are in the middle of the mess that Obama has created with his policies and programs -- or lack thereof. Obama can't fool them.
Despite President Barack Obama’s renewed focus on the nation’s economy this summer, crisscrossing the country to talk about job creation, he scores worse with Americans on the economy than he did in June. His approval rating on the issue, now 35%, is down seven percentage points, and his ratings on taxes and the federal budget deficit are each down five points. During the same period, his overall approval rating is down three points.

In fact, out of seven issues for which Obama’s job performance was rated in the new poll and in June, only the three economy-related ones fell significantly. These are also his lowest issue approval ratings of the nine total issues measured this month. Notably, these declines somewhat parallel the slide Gallup has seen in Americans’ economic confidence over the same period, although confidence picked up slightly this past week.

Obama’s approval ratings on race relations, terrorism, and education remain positive on balance, with each changing little since Gallup last measured them. His approval ratings on foreign affairs, immigration, and healthcare policy are all moderately negative but little changed.
Obama went on another big cross-country speaking tour. The kind where he talks the talk, but there's very little "walk." Obama hoped to build some momentum for his upcoming budget fight vs Congress again, of course. Obama's approval ratings on the economy -- and just about everything else -- sinks the more he campaigns. Kinda like when he campaigns for people running for the House or Senate ... THEY LOSE.

All of the changes on approval are negative, but some are within the poll's margin of error. Overall approval has dropped 3% to 44%. The biggest drop is in the Economy at -7% to 35%. Equally horrendous numbers are at 36% on taxes, and 26% approval on the federal budget deficit. Americans don't like Obama blowing all that money.

The non-economic issues are pretty bad, too, considering he was just re-elected less than a year ago. Obama is only at 51% on race relations. That borders on no good. Obama scores only 50% on terrorism, and 49% on education. Education? Why would they even ask about Education? That's a state issue. Foreign affairs have sunk to 40%. No rainbows across the world anymore. Every other category is at 39% or WORSE -- including, yes, that "good start" called ObamaCare -- the continuing train wreck of a BAD start.

Obama's tour ended with a luxurious vacation at Martha's Vineyard. Another reward for a guy who has done nothing, but like a bad fireman, thrown gas on the fire.

Well, I think it has lots to do with that comparison game they play. Watergate Scandal ... Nixon's Enemy List ... But those are junior high pranks compared to the tyrant that sits in the White House today.

I've noticed something about Obama that has never done anything to improve his stature with me. He never promotes the Constitution. Always talks of it as if it is a hindrance to him. Obama never promotes free enterprise. Always demonizes success in the private sector. Goes after productive and creative people who work hard, pay their own way, and whose tax dollars pay the way of others. Obama never promotes Individual Liberty, freedom and choice. He's always promoting the "collective" -- but at the same time creates groups based on race and economics. The class warfare bit. But then says, "We are all in this together" in an effort to try to make the productive feel guilty and the unproductive to feel entitled.

Obamacare, breeding ground for swindlers, ripoff artists and con men according to the most liberal CNBC....

Obamacare is coming, and so are the con artists

http://www.cnbc.com/id/100963714

As the debate rages over who benefits from the Affordable Care Act, one thing is becoming clear: The controversial program is a dream come true for rip-off artists.

Consumer experts warn that the program has created a huge opportunity for swindling people by stealing their money and their sensitive personal information.

"Any time you roll out a big government program like this, confusion is inevitable," said Lois Greisman, an associate director in the Bureau of Consumer Protection at the Federal Trade Commission. "This confusion creates a tremendous opportunity for the fraudster."

Scammers have been at it for more than a year now, but consumer advocates and security experts warn that the problem will worsen as we get closer to Oct. 1. That's when the millions of uninsured Americans can use a health insurance exchange, set-up by their state or by the federal government, to shop for coverage.

"I believe the incidents are going to skyrocket as that date approaches," said Eva Velasquez, president and CEO of the nonprofit Identity Theft Resource Center. "And even people who are smart and savvy could get taken, so we are very concerned about the potential for some serious financial harm."

Obamacare, flopping like a fish out of water.

Articles of impeachment filed against Obama...I suppose if this organization's members were all white they would be labeled racist...
We, black American citizens, in order to free ourselves and our fellow citizens from governmental tyranny, do herewith submit these Articles of Impeachment to Congress for the removal of President Barack H. Obama, aka, Barry Soetoro, from office for his attack on liberty and commission of egregious acts of despotism that constitute high crimes and misdemeanors.

Now an Obama EPA Scandal brewing ... it never ends.

Post by WBU ALUM » August 16, 2013, 2:47 pm

Federal Judge: EPA May Have Skirted FOIA Law with Secret Emails
http://freebeacon.com/federal-judge-epa ... et-emails/
U. S. District Judge for the District of Columbia Royce Lamberth ordered the EPA to submit to discovery in a case brought against it by the conservative group Landmark Legal Foundation and said the foundation can seek information to determine whether top EPA officials used personal email accounts to conduct official business.

“The possibility that unsearched personal email accounts may have been used for official business raises the possibility that leaders in the EPA may have purposefully attempted to skirt disclosure under the FOIA,” Lambert wrote. “The possibility that the agency purposefully excluded the top leaders of the EPA from the search, at least initially, suggests an unreasonable and bad faith reading of Landmark’s FOIA request and subsequent agreement to narrow its scope.”

Lambert also said the EPA’s statements concerning its search for records were incomplete and “contain numerous inconsistencies and reversals which undermine confidence in their truthfulness.”
Everything seems to be so secretive in this "transparent" administration.

GOP lawmakers: Ex-EPA chief may have broken sunshine laws
http://thehill.com/blogs/e2-wire/e2-wir ... z2c7E6I2Va
The revelation that Jackson asked to communicate with a Siemens official through her personal email account indicated the ex-EPA chief skirted federal sunshine laws, said a letter from House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) and Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee’s top Republican.

“We are concerned that your use of a non-official e-mail account was a deliberate attempt to circumvent federal transparency laws and Congressional oversight. Accordingly, we are writing to request your cooperation as the Committee investigates this matter,” the Thursday letter states.

Vitter and Issa requested all correspondence from Jackson’s personal email account spanning the duration of her EPA tenure that “refer or relate” to official business.
The EPA chief used the alias Richard Windsor in conducting official EPA business over e-mail. Open-records laws require that all government business be conducted on official accounts so they can later be searched in the event of any Freedom of Information Act requests. If private emails are used, there is a procedure for registering them as an official account. Jackson and other EPA employees repeatedly failed to report their private email correspondence. They have also been less than forthcoming in producing requested documents. Now a federal judge has decided that they really weren't transparent at all.

The only thing transparent has been the Obama Administration's efforts to hide every damn thing they do.

Gotta love big government.

I find it remarkable that, at least according to you, every ill or problem with the U.S. generally and government in particular seems to be the fault of Democrats/liberals. I've worked in federal and state government, and I've studied government/politics both in university and professionally.

I've found a bunch of things. One is that there is relatively little a President can do in four years to help or hurt the country. All she or he can do, really, is to nudge the direction ever so slightly. Another interesting observation I've made is that when it comes to curruption and dishonesty, Republicans and Democrats are more or less equally bad (good). Neither of them has the corruption market cornered, as neither has the integrity market cornered. Is Obama perfect? Of course not. And I also fault him for being a manager rather than a leader. A President of the U.S. is supposed to be a leader, as both Reagan and JFK understood. But when it comes to integrity, honesty and similar characteristics, I'll take Obama any day over, say, Nixon.

DC:

Nicely said, although I disagree with your leadership assessment.

President Obama's a fine leader - Our right-side folks are so PO'd with him becuz: He's kicked dey butts twice, fair and square...

I see him as a quiet, pragmatic leader, sincerely making a great effort to make America a better place.
He's passed national health care; ended Iraq, and, is ending Afghanistan. The economy is roaring. The deficit's falling...

It is only at great risk, that the right keeps hounding President Obama with unsupportable charges... The center to left side far outnumbers the unbalanced rightist rascals, and, will continue to do so. I predict they gonna get dey butts whipped again, providin the Dems don't make a real bad mistake in running Hillary....

And, guess what? President Obama's jes a human like the rest of us, and, so, must do nothing, or risk making mistakes, like all us humans...

A great credit to America.

You are characterizing me incorrectly. You need to go back and do a lot of reading. You'll find your errors. I contend it is the fault of any government official without virtue or who is incompetent or reckless. I've said this numerous times. I don't support anyone from either party who does things that damage America through unconstitutional activity, stifling free enterprise, or denying individual liberty -- or trying to grow big government.

You know what I find remarkable? That people whine and complain and try to make the characterization that you made, but no one can refute one single article with any facts or sources or can provide any current programs that don't hurt/damage/penalize others in the process.

I've asked any number of times for the programs/policies of Obama that the majority of working Americans favored AND programs/policies that helped ALL Americans equally. No one has ever responded -- here or anywhere else.

I've found a bunch of things. One is that there is relatively little a President can do in four years to help or hurt the country. All she or he can do, really, is to nudge the direction ever so slightly.

That was generally the case before January 2009.

I don't disagree.

Except Obama is the one leading the destruction now. I try never to compare Obama to any other president -- until the Ozombies come in here wanting to make comparisons. I am working in the present.

You're entitled to your opinion. I didn't much care for Nixon either, but outside of the Watergate burglary and his Enemy List, those were junior high pranks compared to what we are seeing now.

Congress attempted to nationalize health care in America at the behest of Obama. That Congress was thrown out 18 months later. Iraq is in flames and political turmoil. Afghanistan will be run again by the Taliban. Obama's efforts on behalf of the phony democracy project in the Middle East has backfired everywhere it was supported and funded. The economy is roaring in objection to over-reaching regulations and government policies that are stagnating private sector growth. The deficit continues to increase by the second and is approaching $17 Trillion. That does not include the deficits of unfunded liabilities (welfare, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, et al) which could be as high as $100 Trillion based on some estimates.

http://www.usdebtclock.org/

“I care about one thing and one thing only, and that’s how to use every minute of the 1,276 days remaining in my term to make this country work for working Americans again,” Obama promised in a long speech at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.

And then he went back to the White House to pack for his vacation.
