Yes, when viewed from an EC perspective, NM is about the only state where they have any effect, but even then NM elected a Republican female governor, the Honorable Susana Martinez.WhoUrDaddy wrote:
Texas just finished electing Hispanic and conservative Republican Ted Cruz to the US Senate. He defeated the incumbent Texas Lt. Governor, who was more of a centrist with some liberal leanings in several areas. Cruz came out of nowhere and beat him.

Being that I was born and raised in New Mexico I can attest is also the home state of Gary Johnson, 2 time GOP Governor of New Mexico and if not for term limits would have served longer. Some might remember that he was the Libertarian Party Presidential candidate. He is about as far from a liberal socialist as you can go. New Mexico was also the home of Pete Domenici, a Republican Senator who served 6 terms in the US Senate. Home to Heather Wilson, Republican Congressman who served for 10 years in the House.WBU ALUM wrote: NM is about the only state where they have any effect, but even then NM elected a Republican female governor, the Honorable Susana Martinez.

New Mexico has a long history in the Republican Party as well as it's next door neighbors, Texas and Arizona. It is fallacy that all Mexican-Americans are die hard liberals but it is what the media wants everyone to believe.

Forgot about Johnson. And I agree regarding Texas and Arizona. Pretty strong to the conservative side.
The media has certainly played a roll in swaying people's thoughts with propaganda instead of reporting news.

It is always easy to expose the hypocrisy of the Liberal Utopian. Excellent example, PG. =D>

So much for counting her out of the race. Sounds like she's in it.

The hypocrisy of this reeks.
Hillary Clinton To Deliver Series Of Policy Speeches
http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/e ... y-speeches
Hillary told the ABA in San Francisco that she would be launching a series of speeches about American foreign policy. Hillary plans to emphasize restoring faith in government. Rather ironic when you consider the fact that she was a member of the current administration presiding over the rapid decline in faith in government.
And then there's Benghazi.

OOOPS!!! How do you get the name WRONG of such a distinguished leader in Civil Rights, who was gunned down in his driveway at night by a member of the Klan?
Medgar Evans?
Leave it to Hillary. Phony as ever. Doesn't even know the man's name, but she tried to use his death to elevate herself. Pathetic.

In answer to your question:
By being a totally self interested, tired ol' politician, interested only in spouting her sound bytes properly, as instructed.
Run, Michelle, run!
Oh, and, does it look like she's had some surgery?

The New York Times blows the lid off.
Unease at Clinton Foundation Over Finances and Ambitions
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/14/us/po ... l?hp&_r=1&
The Times article says that Chelsea Clinton has concerns that all of this was negatively impacting the Foundation. Additionally, all three Clintons are gearing up for a $250 million fundraising push as Hillary prepares to use the Foundation as the core of a political campaign.
The New York Times takes down the Clinton Foundation. This could be devastating for Bill and Hillary

Yes, the NY Times has exposed the Clinton nonprofit as rife with crony capitalist conflicts of interest and multi-million dollar deficits. The Foundation has raked in almost half a BILLION dollars in the decade beginning in 1997.
In 2007 and 2008, it ran a $40 million deficit. In 2012, it ran a deficit of over $8 million despite generating over $200 million in revenue.

Among Teneo’s earliest clients was now-defunct MF Global, run by disgraced Obama bundler Jon S. Corzine.Mr. Band poached executives from Wall Street, recruited other Clinton aides to join as employees or advisers and set up shop in a Midtown office formerly belonging to one of the country’s top hedge funds….Teneo worked on retainer, charging monthly fees as high as $250,000, according to current and former clients. The firm recruited clients who were also Clinton Foundation donors while Mr. Band and Mr. Kelly encourage4d others to become new foundation donors….Some Clinton aides and foundation employees began to wonder where the foundation ended and Teneo began.

Wow. That guy at the NY Times is probably going to be fired over this. The relationship between the Clinton Foundation donors, foreign governments, and corporate interests has long been a concern to government watchdog groups. As of 2008, the Clinton Foundation raised at least $46 million from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Brunei, Oman, and other foreign governments -- the very governments Secretary of State Hillary Clinton eventually negotiated with. Wealthy foreign investors, like Saudi businessman Nasser Al-Rashid and Indian politician Amar Singh gave at least $1 million each.
Previous news accounts have chronicled how Clinton Foundation donors have profited. In 2004, New York developer Robert Congel donated $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. Shortly thereafter, Sen. Hillary Clinton reportedly helped the developer bag millions in federal assistance for his mall project. Congel and Hillary Clinton’s spokesperson denied any crony pay-to-play connection.
The New York Times says the cronyism and conflicts have reached critical mass. “The Clinton Foundation had become a sprawling concern, supervised by a rotating board of old Clinton hands, vulnerable to distraction and threatened by conflicts of interest,” reports the Times. “It ran multimillion-dollar deficits for several years, despite vast amounts of money flowing in.”
Despite the apparent fiscal mismanagement, well-connected Clinton allies appear to be doing quite well. In 2009, Douglas Band, whom Clinton insiders describe as a “kind of surrogate son to Mr. Clinton,” co-founded Teneo, a consultancy that has since hired Hillary Clinton confidante and disgraced mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner spouse Huma Abed.
