Despite this singular wrong doer being found guilty in the UK, the source of the plans and instructions for this illegality is the US, where one apparently only has to say "freedom" a few times to ensure one's Constitutional protections.

Excuse my ignorance here, but is it not possible for UK govt to block any sites/threads where this info is shown, there does after all seem to be quite a few "not available in Thailand" sites (Porn sites/footie streaming sites/Daily Mail etc)

A printed gun is useless without the bullets, which are quite hard to get in UK (I'd imagine, have never tried of course).

Absolutely correct. The guy who shot and killed a detention officer in London with a legally purchased and functional antique revolver made his own bullets.
