The US Justice Department is preparing charges against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, reports in the US say.

The reports came as a filing in a separate court case hinted that charges were being prepared. Justice officials said the filing was made in error.

Mr Assange fled to Ecuador's London embassy in 2012 to evade since-dropped sex assault charges and has stayed over fears of extradition to the US.

It is not clear what charges Mr Assange would face.

I can't see why there's so much hate for this man who's probably helped 1,000s of people whistle blow on so much.i see America just wanting him on trumped up charges to hush him up.i think he's been in self imprisonment for 6 years for his belief in the truth and exposing the evils and corruption carried out by people,organisations and countries around the world.i say good luck to the guy for what he has done for the fight of freedom of speech and exposing what he has.as for the propaganda that the American government spew out about him I think most level headed people can see through that.oh he's a sex offender,oh he's colluded with the Russians,next they will say hes been dancing with the devil.

I have bern following this "Hacker" for years.. There is one thing he forgot to do.. Leave his precious ego aside.
