THIS is the bizarre moment two women in full traditional Muslim dress are confronted in an apparent failed bid to steal food from Asda.

Shoppers couldn't believe their eyes as the women appear to pull a hoard of items out from under their black robes in Dagenham, East London.

That must have been many years ago.

An astute observation - which no-one would ever accuse yartims/izzix of being capable.

And an early nomination for the 2024 UdonMap necro thread of the year award. :D

The tumultuous times of Izzix. Thanks for the reminder. One wonders if the Putney tugboat seaman ever apologised to Westerby.

The Eighth commandment for Christianity states 'Thou shalt not steal' but there are still many thieves who come from Christian backgrounds, Islam is not the only religion to have hypocrits.

The misuse of this video is however right out of the racist playbook. The event took place more than 4 years ago, who knows why it is trotted out now. It was also posted on an Australian website claiming it occured in the Sydney suburb of Bankstown (in an area with a large Muslim population), undoubtedly to whip up anti muslim sentiment.

Thieves are theives, regardless of their ethnicity or religious beliefs, this was a crime yes, but a minor one. Certainly not headline news, but good news for racists. That includes the person who posted the thread with the pejorative term 'mussy'.

It's that confounded new-fangled scroll feature again.

Jus' playin'. Maybe there's more to this necro-thread thing than meets the eye. Maybe zombies?

Tried that scroll thingy, twisted mouth to the left, then to the right, sang a few bars to Time Warp, waited, baited breath, zero, damn. Effing Zombies strike again.
