If he's such a great guy then how come he keeps firing people on his team?
Because he can!!!!!! Those people work at the pleasure of the President and he can fire them at will. If they don't fully agree with his foreign policies and are interfering in his ability to carry out those policies, then they have no business being on his team. A house divided against itself will surely fall. But you're just knit picking now and skirting that which matters most. Can someone not address my questions in my previous post and stop avoiding the more important issue at hand? Are you prepared to accept the alternative in the 2020 election?

There have been an awful lot though, haven't there.

Lots of people have been given the chop on his team. I wonder whether there will be a reckoning after he ceases being President. The knives are probably being sharpened right now.

I like Buttigieg. America needs youth like a Macron or Trudeau. Sanders and Biden make it look like Karaoke night in the old folk's home.

Trump will get his second term. The Democrats are looking like Corbyn's Labour Party at present.

What choice does an American voter have?

I really can't for the life of me understand why any freedom loving fairly intelligent American who is not suffering from some mental health issue could possibly say that they are not happy with the way President Trump is running the country. Forget about his brash personality and his former lifestyle choices. Who the heck cares about that as long as he's taking the country in the right direction. John F. Kennedy was one of the most beloved Presidents we have ever had and he was probably the most prolific adulterer that has ever been in the White House according to his security team that ushered all of his flings into the White House on a continuous basis. I challenge anyone on this forum to tell me one thing that Trump has done that has personally affected them negatively. I've said it once and I'll say it again....if you don't like him then have you seriously considered the alternatives, because that's the most important question you can answer? Who in their right mind would dare wish that Mayor Pete, Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren were our next President? Forget about Sleepy Joe Biden and the rest of the candidates because they don't have a snowball's chance of winning the ticket. You'd have to be out of your ever-loving mind to desire that sort of change for our great country. I'd venture to say that there's not a single American on this forum that would be happy with any of the Democratic candidates, so why can't you just quit your belly-aching and support our President for another term if he's the only viable choice that makes sense for America at this point in our history.

Seriously, in 2016 Donald Trump was elected over Hillary Clinton because the American people finally woke up at the last minute and realized that crooked Hillary would be a disaster for our country if she was elected. The choice was made between the lesser of two evils as many would say. We're faced with the same decision this coming election...the lesser of the two evils for those that think that Trump is the devil incarnate. Just imagine what you're going to get with the alternative....a communist or a socialist...take your pick; but I promise you you're not going to be happy with either of those choices, and deep in your hearts you all know it. Wake up Americans and take off your blinders of hate so you can discern clearly. Trump will be reelected in 2020 so why put yourself through the stress of hate for the next 5 years when you can soften up now and spare your health. Most of us don't have that many years left anyway, so join the Trump team and be happy!!!!!

JFK, and many Presidents before and after him, were certainly no saints. But their moral transgressions were not immediately known to the voting public, and the self-professed "christians" could vote without compromising their "beliefs".

Jump forward 50 years, and Trump's salacious life style is all over the internet. So what do the "christians" do - they hold their collective noses, cover their eyes, and block their ears, and go full bore hypocrisy in voting for the pussy grabbing adulterer.

And we did that because we had enough sense to consider the inevitable consequences of voting for crooked Hillary. Can you honestly tell me that you would have been happy with that choice? Wake up Jackspratt...you're smarter than this! And still....no one wants to address the issue of the alternatives to Trump! If you can't vote for Trump's opponents and all you can do is criticize the only other choice available.... if you're not part of the solution then you must be part of the problem. In my nearly 10 years on this forum you're one of the few people that I have truly admired for your wisdom, but right now you're making no sense at all.

Okay snowflake here it goes:
1. He wants to privatize my job
2. He wants to cut my pension by over 40%
a. He wants to eliminate the FERS supplement
b. He wants to change the calculation for FERS retirement
from high 3 to high 5
c. He wants to eliminate any COLA's for FERS retirees

And after he's re-elected, he's going to cut our social security benefits.

Is that good enough for you oh holy one?

So tell me, sfg, what was it about "crooked Hillary" that offended your strongly self professed christian ideals, more so than the lying, criminal, pussy grabbing adulterer who was her opponent?

It certainly can't have been principles.

But you are right on one level - I woke up a long time ago, and am smart enough not to believe in fairy tales.

Nope...not good enough. You're still avoiding the major issue. Are you prepared to vote for any of Trump's opponents. Have you considered what they might do to 1 through 2 above....or worse for sure. While all of this is important to you, and I feel for you, it is absolutely irrelevant if you're not prepared to vote for any of the Demos. You're left with Trump, so you're just going to have to roll with the punches my friend. Please be realistic!

And still....all we get is more criticism. Please answer the 64,000 dollar question Sir Stattoninthailand. Are you prepared to vote for the alternatives to Trump? If not then anything else you have to say about Trump is really irrelevant. Why is no one prepared to answer the only question that really matters in this upcoming election?

You know as well as I do semp that I am not allowed to vote,, but that may well change if the Trumpster thinks that he has a better chance of re election if he allows foreigners to vote (where me Ukraine passport) . If you gave me a choice of the US version of Michael Foot, the queer, the creep, the woman any of the other Dem candidates or Trump, I can assure you that the orange moron would be right at the bottom of the queue ..... and thats for free ya can keep your 64k

Oh my goodness...another foreigner who thinks he understands American politics well enough to even have an opinion. Why bother my friend if it doesn't affect you one bit. I guess you just like winding up guys like me that are passionate about doing the right thing for our country. Are you really from Ukraine? Good night Sir Stattoninthailand!
Colossians 2:8-10...See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily; and you are complete in HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.
