Keep grabbing at straws. That's all you have going for you. You seem to refuse to open your eyes.

anefarious...you are missing a very salient observation...he did mention it was occurring in democratic cities. How do you bring people together when one side is hell bent on destroying everything?

I would have thought the answer to that question is glaringly obvious - even to the deplorables.

But let me help - you elect a leader who doesn't thrive on division; who is interested in the entire population of his/her country (and not just the minority which may see them re-elected); who is not conspiring with foreign powers to facilitate that re-election; who is not making decisions based on what will personally enrich him and his despicable family and close acquaintances; who is not actively undermining the social and political fabric of his country for personal benefit.

I'll stop there - but I'm sure you get the picture.

The picture? You have yet to answer the question as to why DT was elected in the first place. It is patently obvious that neither you or the resident soy boys are unable to do so. You have failed to answer the question as to why it is occurring in democratic cities. It remains patently obvious that you are uncomfortable with the truth. You have failed to answer how to bring people together when these yobs are intent only on destruction. Again it is obvious that this behaviour is only perpetrated by the non deplorables? Your response is vacuous and predictable. When you condemn needless violence, accept that due process is required for justice to prevail and that this violence is not doing your cause any good then you may be able to help yourself. I certainly do not need your assistance, no matter how relevant you may think it is.

You may be right, Uncle - but as the last 4 years have shown us, we know where not to look. ;)

One thing about Uncle Joe is that he is not selfish. He has made at least five people in his family multi millionaires while keeping very little in his own name. No wonder he is not pushing to see a Trump tax return. Uncle Joe worries about his family and takes care of them. Too bad a professional politician for 47 years has accomplished nothing in all those years. Are you still bringing up Russia? Most democrats have given up on that fiasco. That lost cause is REALLY grasping at straws. Why has Trump's net worth dropped since he has become president? Why is it that Trump's salary is being given to charity. What personal benefits is he getting?

A $400,000 salary is a drop in the bucket when you consider that taxpayers have paid over 141 million dollars just for his golf resort visits (some of which goes directly to Trump's businesses ie. personal benefits). For example, taxpayers have paid the Trump Organization at least $970,000 for more than 1,600 room rentals since Trump took office. Golf cart rentals, by secret service, alone cost more than his salary.

And we can't forget he said he'd have no time for golf, yet has played more than Obama (whom he criticized for it). Anyone know if Trump still employs illegal immigrants at his resorts? MAGA!

The Top 20 by wealth in the US Congress.
congress top 20.jpg
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_members_of_the_United_States_Congress_by_wealth
55% of the richest in Congress are Republicans.

55% of the richest in the House of Representatives are Republicans.

70% of the Senate's richest are Republicans.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

Vaguely. What's your point? All those guys are well off and will enjoy nice pensions in their dotage.

My point was @glalt banging on about the family of Sleepy Joe's alleged extraordinary wealth and suggestions how POTUSness is ripping big holes in the deep pockets of DJT and his progeny.

There, now that you're up to speed, maybe you can post something a bit more salient.

And your point is? I'm not shy about saying that most career politicians are corrupt. They don't get that wealthy on their wages, so how did they get so wealthy? The term career politicians, covers both parties. Term limits are desperately needed but since congress will certainly never support that, it will never happen. Kind of like the fox guarding the hen house.

So we can forget the discussion about Biden being unusually rich while Trump loses his ass? That's fine.

Totally agreed on term limits although I think the more appropriate metaphor would be like turkeys voting for Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the clarification. I did not read the post by Glalt. Nevertheless, the ladies and gentlemen you speak of are all doing quite well financially.

I've lost touch with the polling in the most contested states. I saw an article recently where polling of members of the US military revealed they support Biden more than Trump this time. In 2016 they went strongly for Trump.

Polls mean squat these days. The UK's EU referendum and the last US Presidential election pretty much proved that. Whether Vlad's troll farms capitalized on an increasingly gullible and inattentive western population or social media has simply erased the need for many to make their own reasoned and rational judgment of facts is still up for question. Either way, the need for it to all be someone else's fault endures.

Looking at how easily the more excitable and noiseome support their arguments with re-Tweets or YouTube clips (and perhaps more alarmingly, a YouTube of a Fox or CNN news clip... WTF?!), the indolence to do one's own fact checking and parrot the "fake news" narrative is simply overwhelming.

Entertainment for the snowies and cfs.
Here are some interesting points to think about prior to 2020, especially to my friends on the fence, like moderate Democrats, Libertarians and Independents and the never Trump Republicans and those thinking of "walking away" from the Democratic party.
Women are upset at Trump’s naughty words -- they also bought 80 million copies of 50 Shades of Gray.
Not one feminist has defended Sarah Sanders. It seems women’s rights only matter if those women are liberal.
No Border Walls. No voter ID laws. Did you figure it out yet? But wait... there's more.
Chelsea Clinton got out of college and got a job at NBC that paid $900,000 per year. Her mom flies around the country speaking out about white privilege.
And just like that, they went from being against foreign interference in our elections to allowing non-citizens to vote in our elections.
President Trump’s wall costs less than the Obamacare website. Let that sink in, America.
We are one election away from open borders, socialism, gun confiscation, and full-term abortion nationally. We are fighting evil.
They sent more troops and armament to arrest Roger Stone than they sent to defend Benghazi.
60 years ago, Venezuela was 4th on the world economic freedom index. Today, they are 179th and their citizens are dying of starvation. In only 10 years, Venezuela was destroyed by democratic socialism.
Russia donated $0.00 to the Trump campaign. Russia donated $145,600,000 to the Clinton Foundation. But Trump was the one investigated!
Nancy Pelosi invited illegal aliens to the State of the Union. President Trump Invited victims of illegal aliens to the State of the Union. Let that sink in.
A socialist is basically a communist who doesn’t have the power to take everything from their citizens at gunpoint ... Yet!
How do you walk 3000 miles across Mexico without food or support and show up at our border 100 pounds overweight and with a cellphone?
Alexandria Ocasio Cortez wants to ban cars, ban planes, give out universal income and thinks socialism works. She calls Donald Trump crazy.
Bill Clinton paid $850,000 to Paula Jones To get her to go away. I don’t remember the FBI raiding his lawyer’s office.
I wake up every day and I am grateful that Hillary Clinton is not the president of the United States of America.
The same media that told me Hillary Clinton had a 95% chance of winning now tells me Trump’s approval ratings are low.
“The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money.”— Margaret Thatcher
Maxine Waters opposes voter ID laws; She thinks that they are racist. You need to have a photo ID to attend her town hall meetings.
If it looks good..and smells good..go for it..

The last three plus years we have been a socialist country.
