when you read through the posts you realise that apart from the poor humour and the idiotic remarks by some the situation in America is NOT getting better .
Daily we are bombarded with really silly and stupid comments from AM<ERICAN Politicians as to the cause , from mental instability to downright cussedness .
Basically people are stupid , there is little if any permanant deterrent due in part to the Liberal Brigade, who not want Executions but happy that people can kill each other. Tom allowing people to carry firearms openly without a permit. I have seen videos ( of which there are many ) of Stupid law Enforcement officers pushing the legal boundaries and what frightened me more is they are LEGALLY allowed to carry guns and many portrayed are certainly suffering form too much EGO.
I recently saw one supposedly Chief of a Police talking to a person just walking past a facility and his conve3rsational ability was less than a 10 year old.
So the problem is sadly Americans themselves and only THEY can sort it out , but as they VOTE in idiots will take a long time.
Who is Tom?
Your really asking ..OMG try reading and when you find a MISTAKE allow for it in your deliberations.
Do not show us you are unable to do this . I do it all the time when people post, I look at the subject matter and attempt to ascertain the real meaning . NOT ask silly questions ...Really !!!!!

You blokes missed this one..

Today is a special day. June 4th, 2022, marks the 18th anniversary of the Killdozer's rampage through Granby, Colorado.

Sit down, kids, and let me tell you a tale about a reasonable man driven to do unreasonable things.

Marvin Heemeyer was a man who owned a muffler shop in Granby, Colorado. The city council ordained to approve the construction of a concrete factory in the lot across from Marvin's shop. In the process, this blocked the only access road to the muffler shop. Marvin petitioned to stop the construction to no avail. He petitioned to construct a new access road, and even bought the heavy machinery to do so himself. Denied.

The concrete factory went up in disregard to the ramifications on Marvin's business. To add insult to injury, the factory construction disconnected the muffler shop from the city sewage lines. An indifferent city government then chose to fine Marvin for this.

His business and livelihood were in ruin. Rather than lie down and die, Marvin chose to fight back. Over the course of a year and a half Marvin secretly outfitted the bulldozer he bought to save his business with three foot thick steel and concrete armor along with camera systems guarded with bulletproof glass.

On June 4th, 2004, Marvin Heemeyer lowered the armored shell onto the bulldozer, entombing himself inside the Killdozer to make his last stand.

He burst forth from the walls of his muffler shop and straight into the concrete factory that ruined his business. Over the course of the next several hours, Marvin drove his Killdozer through 13 buildings owned by those officials that had wronged him, including the city council building itself.

SWAT teams swarmed the dozer, but it proved immune to small arms fire and even explosives. Another piece of heavy machinery was even brought out to fight the Killdozer, but it too fell to the dozer’s righteous fury.

In the end, Marvin's Killdozer became trapped in one of the buildings it was built to destroy. Marvin chose to take his life, the only life he took that day.

Today we celebrate Killdozer day and Marvin Heemeyer, the last great American folk hero. A man driven to the brink who chose to fight back against an indifferent system.

From notes left behind after his passing:
"I was always willing to be reasonable until I had to be unreasonable. Sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things."

HAPPY KILLDOZER DAY EVERYONE.

As I use a computer with a proper keyboard, my mistakes are of my own making, typos etc. . But I do have chubby fingers often even spanning two keys at once. SUCH Is life and the crosses we bear as we age, loss of flexibility and aching joints plus having to put up with imbeciles as well, sometimes too much ......hahaha

I have come to real;ise that this problem will NEVEER get a sensible statement from any Republican member of Congress or the Senate as they are afraid of NOT being voted in NEXT TIME.
Politicians, more like sChildren afraind opf upsetting Mummy ( Trump. Represent the people .NO CHANCE , explain their views certainly with all the twisting and turning they can envisage and it leaves you actually amazed that they were ever voted in, in the first place, but then America gets what they voted for and sadly shows the level of stupidity of the vast American Nation. who would rather VOTE for a Party NOT A PERSON ...

Louie is probably one of those that sneered at the Indonesian Health Minister who strongly suggested 'praying harder' as his initial response to the Covid outbreak.

There are nut jobs everywhere but I would offer the higher number of them are a bit over zealous in the religion department. Any religion.

I rate Biden way above Trump and Johnson. I suspect Biden is widely respected by his peers in other democratic countries. Sure, he has his shortcomings too.

By shortcomings do you mean the alleged sex with an under age girl/girls. His alleged assistance in fraudulent tax evasion, just a few of the allegations made against him which, while never been convicted of any crime should be the subject of speculation of guilt by key board warriors?
I suspect he is given the respect by other Democratic Countries that you would give to your verging on senile old great-grandfather.

You're rambling? I know people have said Biden has been too familiar with his touching but I wasn't aware he had been investigated for having sex with minors. Biden will be far far more tax compliant than Trump. I am happy to bash Biden when I feel it's warranted.

I think the Biden administration has done an excellent job dealing with Putin's invasion of Ukraine. America is back.

I certainly wouldn't say it's "back" GT, although it does now have far more respect worldwide than it did before 6 Jan

Did not say investigated but alleged by numbers of people who perhaps did not know the real facts.

There is also the alleged sexual assault of one of his previous staff members. Which again was jumped upon by people who did not have the facts but assumed he was guilty.

Vice President Biden mentioned a few times in this article. If he was not implicated by association he certainly made sure his son knew all his movements down to a restaurant he was going to visit. If he discussed down to that level of information surely he would have also discussed and advised his son about his tax evasion. Or am I just making assumptions based on newspaper articles and not fact.

I've been with Mrs tam for over sixteen years and she knows when I am going to either Col's, Dean's or Chris's but she doesn't know squat about my tax affairs let alone advise me on them.
