And, according to the wee graphic that accompanied the linked story, the Germans earn more on Russian offence than the UK does.
I have a link but maybe not the same as the one you're referring to.

A former head of the Polish army has accused Boris Johnson of “tempting evil” by revealing that Ukrainian soldiers were being trained in Poland in how to use British anti-aircraft missiles before returning with them to Ukraine.

Gen Waldemar Skrzypczak, also a former junior defence minister, complained that a loose-lipped prime minister had revealed too much to the Russians and that his remarks risked the safety of the soldiers involved.

Russia's president Vladimir Putin warned earlier on Wednesday that any country meddling in Ukraine would be met with a "lightning" fast response.

But stop pumping gas to Bulgaria and Poland.

Russian state TV hosts discussed the possibility of a war that expands outside of Ukraine on Tuesday, and Margarita Simonyan, journalist and head of RT, told viewers that a nuclear war would be OK because "we're all going to die someday."

I see Truss is trying to out Johnson Johnson by prodding the stick at Putin. This should be expected. Senior British politicians have spent the last decade or so sledging Europe. They're not going to keep their gobs in check against Russia.

Close your eyes Alexo, the headline for The Guardian opinion piece reads:
Liz Truss risks recklessly inflaming Ukraine’s war to serve her own ambition

This might be the current photo on Putin's office dartboard:
