UK Inheritance Tax revision

Post by Bonanza » December 13, 2012, 6:39 pm

In the Chancellor's recent speech it was announced that the threshold for Inheritance Tax for non-domiciled spouses (ie those without UK citizenship) is to be raised from the present level of £55,000 to £325.000, the same as their UK counterparts. Note that this is still a proposal only, but is of significant interest to anyone who owns a house (or other assets) in UK and has a non-domiciled spouse. :D
