It isnt looking good as forecast to drop further in the next few days n weeks ... i had to do a double take and checking out a few more sites mid 38s in the most common current rate.

This matches the lowest ive ever seen bt to PS rate .. and thats going back the early/mid 1990s when it was 38/39 .. highest ive seen is 92 .. now theres a huge difference in those two figures.

We have to be any further drop in rates mean I might have to curb my spending behaviours and ever more scary cut golf to 3 times a week only. Remember we are all poor heathens north of Birmingham which is now btw in Africa not England

Sorry Alan , but as the thread title is Pound looking good , and as we all know the pound sterling has not been looking good for many years now , its difficult to stay on topic , as the topic does not exist .
Now if your talking of a pound of cheese looking good , then yes i can see some light at the end of the tunnel , especially with the latest promotion from Cheese to meat you . Hows that ?

What's a kilo of cheese got to do with the dollar, I thought this was a thread about the value of the GBP which has suffered badly for years now

Very surprised no members have commented more on the exchange rates .. sterling currently at the dizzy heights of 46.5 to the bt .. it could easily go to 50 soon ??? Which will certainly help retirees with pensions

Normally your thread alan 747 man .. hope yer ok out of shock .. rafa benitez ... Theres a turn up eh ??

Yes it’s a tremendous rate and looking at giving it some context, this time last year it was 40 THB so a 15% increase !

Steadily declined to 44.27 over the last week but has now shot(!) up nearly over night to 45.06 which is nice.

Let’s hope the rapid increase continues through today

I suppose more and more British gents will now be abandoning Archa for a more upmarket beverage. Quite fond of Archa myself.
