Currently 2023 has four fewer Bank Holidays scheduled than 2022.

It would not come as much of a surprise if one or more Bank Holidays are announced at a later date.

Please note that the BoT has decided that the recent announcement of additional holiday(s) by the Government (and as reported in the media) do not apply to Financial Institutions and Specialized Financial Institutions.

Press release today (26 July 2023) from the BoT
No. 33/2023

Announcement of the 31st July 2023 to Remain a Standard Working Day for Financial Institutions and Specialized Financial Institutions

The Cabinet approved that Monday 31st July 2023 shall be a special public holiday and allowed the Bank of Thailand (BOT) to consider whether it is appropriate to announce additional holiday for financial institutions and specialized financial institutions.

The BOT has considered and deemed appropriate to declare that the aforementioned day shall be a standard working day for financial institutions and specialized financial institutions, so as to avoid any disruption to economic activities, as financial institutions and specialized financial institutions are important intermediaries which provide financial services for the business sector and the public.

^ Too late. Half the staff at banks and 'specialized financial institution' have probably already extended their booked vacations.

As for "financial institutions and specialized financial institutions are important intermediaries which provide financial services for the business sector and the public", isn't that what the ATM is for?
