I am surprised how difficult it is to buy concrete blocks (for a house build and perimeter wall) in Udon. Have even tried Home Mart (yes desperate) but they not sell !!
So my question, does anyone know where to buy blocks from and are there any manufacturers in Udon ?
Thank you

They are too cheap for places like Homepro or Global house to make a profit so they don't sell them (you would think they would just do so to get you in the shop, but hey, TIT). Use long haired translator to find them or just drive around ring road and look for a place selling concrete items (pipe sections, beams etc.). There is a thread on here about them somewhere, use search facility.

I did a check and had already found the thread that Roland pointed out - alas no good as no recommendations were mentioned as to where to buy. Guess not many in Udon build their own houses ?

Dont know where you stay. We stay about 15 km NW of Udon, we got our stones in april from a factory nearby. (4THB) But there are more factories around. If you want to contact, I call family for a phone number, because I am not in Udon in the moment.

you have to leave the hotel or bar to get building material
ask at the first building site you see
there would have to be hundreds of suppliers in Udon and every village outside as well

Home mart would of told you where to get them if you ask as they could not supply my roof tiles for about a month told me to go back towards tool pro big wharehouse left side
so if you ask someone will help you and that is with anything

I drove from old Big C to Nongkhai today and saw more places sending cement blocks than I care to remember.
Anyway, the last consignment I bought was at the hardware store near Kasikorn Bank and the pedestrian bridge on Udondutsadee Rd and before that at Somwanchai on Nittayo Rd near Makro and on the same side of the road (more expensive).
