Water Pump Leak
Hi, anyone know why my air intake valve would leak water...I have a hitachi p300gx water pump.

No experience with that specific pump but the valve type is not unlike others. I would take the screws out and lube up the diaphragm lightly with petroleum jelly if it will come out of there.

I did take the diaphragm out to check if it was damaged but looked ok and cleaned it. I will try the petroleum jelly, thanks.

Go and have a talk to Steve at Udon Hardware he is very knowledgeable on this type of thing is also a stockist of Hitachi Pumps.

newtovillagelife good morning I have the same pump and the same leak at the air intake valve. It leaks from the back. Were you ever able to get yours repaired or a replacement parts in Udon? Thanks
