Have a friend who has 6 rai of land to get cleared off. Anybody seen contractors with brushcutting machinery like a tracked bobcat with a bushhog/brushcutter?? He's rather not do the usual and expensive excavator smash down...
Bobcat brushcutters contractors??
Re: Bobcat brushcutters contractors??
If he wants it done right, it is a several step process. The first step in a tractor with a sturdy blade. That will quickly find the hidden stumps. Bush hogs hate stumps. The stumps are marked and the next step is an excavator that will quickly dig out the stumps. From there on a bush hog can safely chop the the rest of the overgrowth.
Re: Bobcat brushcutters contractors??
yes, probably so, but are bush hog/brush cutters as I've described available in Udon Thain?

You could try calling the number at http://vthais.com/%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%B2%E0 ... B8%B5.html
I searched specifically for 'bobcat' for hire in Udon.......a few years ago someone was selling one. But I couldn't find any for rent........but Thai websites are iffy on things like that.
Udoncrane is another possibility http://www.udoncrane.com/
You'll probably have more luck finding a kubota that's outfitted to do the job in Udon. Good luck

Re: Bobcat brushcutters contractors??
doesn't have to be a BobCat. I've seen 4WD tractor setups with a hydraulic driven brush cutter attachment too. I'll check out the links Parrot..
