There could have been a lot of girl on girl action if those two offspring of the British Empire, Canada and Australia, had met for the gold medal in soccer or whatever you call it in the motherland. Sweden threw a spanner in the works by defeating Sheilaland in the semi-final. Still Canada can uphold the dignity and grace of the Empire by thrashing the Vikings.
