Hope Bromley SMASH The Scunny Later Tonight !!......
Thats very abrasive Alan .. [-X [-X ...now run along and practice yer Sean Dyche scouse impression.

As i previously stated being so close to extinction im just pleased the town still has a football club in business and feel very lucky they seem to have landed such a great new owner.. first priority was survival , second paying off all the debts which is happening now and lifts the transfer embargo so new players can come in ... lets just see how things pan out on the field between now and the end of the season at least we have a solvent future this time 2 weeks ago that looked like a pipe dream.

Expecting a bumper crowd at Glanford park today with many returning now Swan has gone... im sure they will give the new owner a very rousing n warm welcome.

Bromley sit 6th this morning but they have to travel north on the bus for three hours to play Scunthorpe so they'll be cream crackered when they arrive.

Coventry play Huddersfield.

Doug K(i)ng has today completed the full purchase of Coventry City Football Club.

Following his purchase of 85% of the Club earlier this month, individual has now purchased the remaining 15% of the Club that was owned by SISU Capital Limited.

This now means individual owns 100% of Coventry City.

Also today, the company name has been changed from Otium Entertainment Group Limited back to ‘Coventry City Football Club Limited’ - marking the start of a new era for the Football Club by returning to its traditional company name.

SISU have gone, which is good, a bit of a roller coaster over the past few years; different grounds, no money, being shafted by RFU clubs who had no idea about finance, et cetera. CCFC needs its own ground now.

CCFC were screwed up by a Finnish American owner who had a lesser understanding of football than me. Business people, sometimes foreign, think they can come in and make a healthy profit but it all goes hideously wrong. I seem to remember something similar about Icelandic owners underestimating players' contracts and salaries at West Ham some years ago.

Well, in truth, I borrowed them from Bandung_Dero a few months ago - said he didn't need them as he was upgrading to Windows 95.

But I thought they were about the same vintage as Scunny's greatest hits.

Is that a sports bra your goal scorer is wearing?
