Thanks tam, but still none the wiser in knowing what the difference is between "toast" and "shingle" which is what I was trying to find out.
You can't roof a house with toast but you can eat beans on it.

Was it a fast game? Looks like they both had rubbish defense.

Although viewing the game for several years but definitely no expert I would not classify either defence as "rubbish".
They had to contend with a new grass surface where the Eagles had to replace cleats on their boots 1/2 time.
Only just finished watching the game (replay) as my live telecast, this morning, was a pixelated mess!
Patrick, you're a star! IMHO and as I said yesterday, he is a game changer along with the help of a (team) defensive touch down and 65 yard punt return late in the game.

Someone seems to be behind the times, no. The NFL has been stressing offence over defence for a number of years now as can be seen in various rule changes. The days of the Bears and Steelers winning 10-7, 17-14 have gone by the wayside.

So does the offense get paid less?

Aussie catches game winning football.
Melbourne man Eamonn Dixon who currently lives in the US, got a last minute ticket to the Super Bowl and ended up catching the winning ball!

Normally the kicks hits the net behind the goal posts, but this time ball went over the net, lucky man, bet ball worth some big cash.

Texan's savaged the Browns to win their Wild card encounter. If they get the Chiefs next (not sure how the seeding plays out here), there's a 50/50 chance of advancing, if not, it's early doors but a really, really good rookie season for QB C.J.Stroud.

The Texan's will play the Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs will play either Buffalo or Pittsburgh. Here's a link for the brackets.

I saw a game at Rich Stadium during a blizzard in Buffalo many years ago. The final score was 6-3, I think, for the Bills. Bert Jones was quarterback for the Baltimore Colts and Joe Ferguson headed the Buffalo offence. Neither quarterback could get much going, and runners had trouble holding on to the ball. The punters had a miserable day too as the wind was howling.

Highly unlikely. Maybe next year.

Thanks Ken for explaining how the seedings work.

When the season started, the Texans hoped for five wins and to be "otherwise competitive". They had a rocky start and also had a late wobble when C.J. was out on concussion protocols but ending up 11-7 was way better than expected.

Correction, Go Steelers! I reckon the Texans can handle the Chiefs.
