Rugby Union

Post by westerby » November 16, 2008, 12:49 am

England 14 - 28 Australia

Bugger

Scotland 10 - 14 South Africa

Ireland - All Blacks to follow.

Martin Johnson says 'we must do simple things better'....(like win?).

I wonder what Brian Ashton is thinking.

This Deans guy is doing some good stuff , after crossing the Tasman as unwanted.

Bring on the Ashes, ooops a bit premature and probably going to be a huge sell out again, Punter needs to pull a few out to retain them i think.

I put the comma after it is and Ter to illustrate that I was acknowledging Ter (sorry for sounding pompous in my explanation, BM).

Go the wannabes!! =D>

Just watched a replay of the Scotland SA match cant believe Scotland blew it so bad they had the game in the bag. At least 5 chances to put the game beyond SA but couldn't finish them off

I did'nt think much of the game at all really, too scrappy and not worthy of an international. The Wallabies were lucky the red rose gave them 35 penalties to boost there game. Very unlucky of England not to have won, never mind we'll take the points and hopefully the Wallabies can get some proper structure to there game and start looking like a professional side sometime soon.

I'll watch it on BBC 2 at 4 pm. It was live on Sky Sports here and I ain't got Sky. Tell you what though, Aardvark, I reckon the most important thing is walking away with the win. Reminds me of Euro 96 football (soccer, Yanks) when England beat Scotland and all my Scottish mates said, 'yeah, but Scotland had the better game.' So what?

England 6 - 42 South Africa

Shocking result - anyone see the game?

I bet Brian Ashton is laughing himself silly and I wouldn't blame him.

France 13 - 18 Australia

Ireland 17 - 3 Argentina

Scotland 41 - 0 Canada

Wales 9 - 29 New Zealand

Italy 17 - 25 Pacific Islanders

I gather this is the worst ever England defeat at Twickenham - well until next week unless something remarkable happens to them during the week.. :(

No thanks, I made that mistake with the Tri Nations.

Wales 21 - 18 Australia

I thought the Wallabies would win that one.

England 6 - 32 New Zealand

That result went without saying. Did anyone see it? A load of penalties given away apparently.

The Six Nations is going to be interesting.

Congratulations to Wales in a hard fought and very entertaining match. There are a lot of bruises on both sides today, but the end result was well deserved for Wales. I'll be happy when Deans settles on a team and gives them some time to play together, but at the moment he is still experimenting !!
