Let the more intelligent of us remove politics form the game and allow the players to play as well as they can. Their political affiliations or not as the case maybe does not sit well with TRUE Rugby aficionados . It is the game that is far more important !!

KP, keeping politics out of sport is a likely as Canute's wishes. I am sure there are earlier examples, but that little shindig in Berlin in 1936 was a fine example
I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

As I understood it , it was the PRESS that insinuated that Politics was responsible for this event being held and the ensuing problems was a direct result of that.If my memory serves me correctly all Olympic Games have a portion of Politics being involved by the host country, 1936 was no exceptions, trying to show the world just how good a country it was.

o my mind it is the players and the people involved in playing the gamke that are important, Politics only comes into question if that Person or TEAM are told by their coujntry to do something not acceptable in the normal norms of the game and its rules .
Apart from that many games events are won or lost by skill or lack of it, why all of a sudden do people think Politics are to blame.

Would be awesome to get the hat trick of wins at Twickenham.

If I have my time zones correct, KO is a quarter to midnight local time.

ITV has it live so make sure your VPN is working.

Can't I receive it on the television? I think the Anglia TV transmitter isn't too far from me.

Congrats on the Calcutta Cup win. That's 3 in a row.
The Thistle's best player is a Boer.

And five out of six. Certainly deserves the MotM award. Got to love that Scottish residency rule, eh?

Bugger, not a great start for Borthwick. He has to beat the Eyeties next Sunday.

After the Italian showing against the French that's not going to be the certainty it used to be.

DM, have you noticed how the Jocks ONLY ever win sports that dont require qualifying. any more than one game and they are knackered

I had noticed Stats but dont like to give the impression im anti Jock.. you are however correct in your assumption that when it comes to Scotland ...qualifying for anything = defeat ..henceforth the Scots bitterness and jealousy re the English just being better all round sportsmen n women ... but as i say i dont wish to comment.

Even after being invited to Bkk tournaments etc as my Bizz colleague son plays for Thailand Rugby is a sport i have never followed..the ball is the wrong shape .. but hey ho dont want to start a rugger v footy debate and each to their own as my old gran used to say

Ohhh nooooo! English arseholes are puckering on the rugby pitch as well, just like in the footie world cup fandango?

Tell me it isn't so.

Next they'll be gurning about how Duhan's brilliant, winning try came off an unflagged forward pass.

Oh, wait... https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union ... en-youngs/

Scotland to play Wales on Saturday evening. It's a long and awkward drive from Cardiff to Murrayfield so my money is on Scotland to win.
