Reports coming in as to why half of Goodison was empty tonight.

Apparently, two fans removed a supporting section of the stand earlier today to welcome back their 'girrrrrrrlfriend', Wayne Rooney. In doing so the stand was deemed structurally unsafe and had to be closed.

Moshiri is currently negotiating another new loan to purchase a replacement beam.

Newcastle United and Swansea City in talks to sign Loic Remy on loan from Chelsea, according to Sky Sources.

Clubs in Italy and Spain also interested. Remy was on loan at Newcastle (from QPR) four years ago.

The 30-year-old made just eight appearances last season during a loan spell at Crystal Palace.

'KEITA TO JOIN LIVERPOOL'

Liverpool have agreed a club record deal with RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, according to The Times.

It is suggested the deal will see the 22-year-old move to Anfield next summer.

The fee? A premium on top of the midfielder's £48m release clause.
