Latest,England 87-3,Carberry 40*,Bell 5*
Cook 13,Trott 10,Pietersen 18 are the men out.
The match is currently very delicately poised.....similar to the tests in England two batting line ups liable to self destruct at anytime and two decent bowling attacks.

Oh,Carberry just out for 40....87-4.....advantage with the Aussies now,you feel.

All out 136. Only Broad with a bit of g&d late in the innings had a dip. Long time since men have looked scared of a bowler but Mithchell Johnson's body line with a heavy ball made Trott, Root, Tremlett and Anderson appear to be just that. Lyon managed to spin a few and took two vital scalps and Ryan Harris continued from where he left the English summer with an immaculate line and subtle movemnet. Highlight of the day - both Anderson and Broad taking heavy knocks on the hands from a rampaging Johnson. Aussies have an hour or so to navigate and all going well will be in a good position to ram home the advantage tomoorow.
The VB tasting even better on this Friday arvo.

Stumps Day 2. Australian lead 224 with 10 wickets in hand. Warner 40 odd no Rodgers 15 odd. Great day for the home team with 0 - 65 topping it off nicely. One of my wifes Thai friends is getting married tomorrow and i'm excpected to attend but may pull rank and drop her off and go to the local boozer. Shaping as a good weekend.

......What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours...... i would have to hum the rest

Did notice that that group of english wickets fell on what the aussies consider the devils bad luck score of 87.

The roller coaster ride for the aussie supporters continues with the inconsistency of our team coming to the fore once again. Perhaps it is our good game bad game policy that has put the poms off??? :D

hopefully 3 days of pain for the englishmen to come. But we may collapse tomorrow. plenty of time left in this game.

The only wedding an aussie should be going to tomorrow is maybe his own!!! :-k

Saturday 23 November Brisbane area
Summary Min 20 Max 28 Showers and chance of a storm. Chance of any rain: 90% Rainfall amount: 5 to 15 mm
Cloudy. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Winds north to northwesterly and light tending northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the morning then becoming north to northeasterly and light in the late evening.

Might make it to that wedding after all. :D But the lead is already 100 too many for the poms to get and with three days to go and a kinder forcast for Sunday and Monday and the drainage at the Gabba no need to panic or celebrate being saved by the weather agian, yet.

No rain yet but good start for England with Australia now 2 -88 overall lead of 247. Rogers out first over of the day without adding to his over night score and Watson out for six pulling after being tied down by some good tight bowling.
It's game on again and the banter on the park is spicing it up as well. Good game. =D>

The covers have just come off and the players are on the ground, blue skies around, well maybe for a short time. I think I will grab another meat pie and watch some great test cricket, Warner and Clarke have settled in and hopefully will be there for a long time.

Downbeat England fans have the consolation that in the match at Brisbane,4 years ago,we were doing even worse.
England made 260 to which Australia replied with 481 but in the second innings England made an amazing 517-1 to save the match easily.....Cook 235* Trott 135* Strauss 110.....we will probably need 500+ to save this match.

And a testing time for the Poms out and about in Udon last night with Rolf Harris music blasting out from several bars.
Rolf is Australia's greatest musical icon(similar to The Beatles in the UK) and is currently on bail on sex charges.
There are many who thought he deserved a custodial sentence much earlier for producing such classic songs as "Sun Arise" and "Two Little Boys." 8)

Latest : Australia 136-2 (Warner 75* Clarke 33*)

sent on my mobile phone from Wat Adisasta, a temple somewhere in rural Thailand

Lunch Day 2: Game Over - Australian lead just over 300, 8 wickets in hand, 8 sessions to go. This mornings, Two Little Boys, Warner and Clarke, looking very good with Clarke's first two short balls from Broad despatched with great ease.
Should have been ACDCs Hell's Bells or Highway to Hell belting out from the Aussie bars for the English players last night Zid as the other bloke hasn't lived here since the 1950s.

Latest : Australia 336-6 (Warner 124,Clarke 113).....Aussies currently lead by 495 so I sense a declaration is coming soon to give England a torrid time before stumps. 8-[
