Yes true but what the Reds spent on transfers should be giving a better performance what do you reckon Gos.

Agree 100% but when you lose both suarez and sturridge ,who scored 80 % of your goals, your always going to struggle,no excuses ,all teams lose players from injury and transfers ,---- happens,i said last year sturridge and suarez carried liverpool, and not buying a proven goal scorer is now showing

Manchester City 1 Manchester United 0

Smalling deservedly sent off for a reckless challenge in the first half but his first booking was for stopping the City keeper making a clearance.....complete idiot !
I thought United did very well, overall, and although the City goal was good the initial pass had a hint of offside about it.
But if Chelsea and City are the top two then United should surely challenge for a place in the top four ??
Despite the result I was still invited on stage to sing a duet with the sexy Thai girl singer....people went crazy but as regards tips she got about 4,000 baht and I got 40 baht :( ....never mind plenty of fit totty at this restaurant ! ;)

Last week all the referee and player "EXPERTS" were talking about holding in the box prior to free kicks/corners, and they all said that you can hold onto someone or their shirt (basically do anything except murder them) BEFORE the ball is kicked, BUT as soon as it's kicked you should get booked for a hold/shirt tug etc;.

I thought I understood that, then Andre Marriner books Stephen Taylor for "making a nuisence of himself" in front of Mingerlet well before the ball was "in play" .... commentator made a stupid comment (something about obstruction), but how can that be as the ball is "DEAD" and therefore he is not stopping the keeper getting to it =;

If someone were to headbut or punch someone while the ball is dead, he would get a card, so therefore it follows that just because the ball is dead it does not allow you to commit a foul ...... SO all the holding and shirt tugging (even before the ball is kicked) should be punished, and the EXPERTS have got it wrong again :-k

Personally I think FIFA should issue a directive at the end of the season that any holding, shirt tugging in the box(before and after the ball is played) should be punished initially by a warning, then a yellow card for a second offence and a red for a third.
It might lead to teams finishing with 6 a side for a few weeks but the message would eventually get through.
But I'm not holding my breath on that one........

As our Bob must be pounding the paths around Nong Sim,on his way to The Bookhouse,as part of his fanatical training regime 8) here is last nights result......Aston Villa 1 Tottenham Hotspur 2.....Villa falling like a stone.
Monday nights match in the UK is Crystal Palace v Sunderland, kick off 3am Tuesday morning in Thailand.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

I Would reckon Joe Hart WILL Find himself in Trouble for making head to head contact with referee Michael Oliver,At the very least that is Threatning Behaviour,Mind you IF Found guilty He will only be fined about 10 Minutes Wages....

Crystal Palace 1-3 Sunderland
Much needed win by the visitors, unneeded loss by the hosts.
It is tight at the bottom (apart from Burnley who look gone). The result moves Sunderland up to 15th. & Palace down to just outside the zone.
Palace had a man sent off but were already behind by then.

The early match is certainly the one to watch today.
Will the dropping of some of his 'stars' from the midweek game pay off for Pool?
If Costa is fit & plays it could be a rough old day for the Pool defence. On the other hand what have they got going forward to worry the Chelsea back line? Given the way Chelsea like to play on the counter attack will Pool even try & attack them??

Would a nil, nil draw actually satisfy the home side today??
Hope for anything except an early Chelsea score & it could be a great game to watch.. :D

Have to apologise in advance to any QPR fans out there ...... after weeks of "give him one more chance" I finally stripped Dzecko of the captaincy in my FF team this week and kicked him off the team 8-[

The way my seasons gone so far he's bound to score a bloomin' hattrick now

I watched most of the Pool game & the United one.

Chelsea always looked like the most likely to win the match. Costa makes a large difference to how Chelsea get results but the visitors were superior just about everywhere on the pitch.
Unless Southampton can keep up their efforts all season long then it really does look like a Chelsea title already.
Pool have gone back a long way from last season. However when you have two strikers playing who can win you even the poorly played games it makes a huge difference. At the moment they can't score & all their weaknesses are exposed.

United won possession by a mile & the game just about. Injuries are certainly having an impact but they have not got their act together yet. Nowhere near being a team but they have enough attacking talent on display to beat most sides in England. Top 4 a likelihood this season, but they are going to have to spend even more to stay in the European Competition next year for any length of time..

Wot Bob, no mention that AstonVillanil got a point at West Ham or that the mighty Andy Carroll made his injury comeback [-X
Have to agree with the match commentators that Rooney was head and shoulders the best United player on the pitch, he managed just about everything except score. Very disappointed with the 50 million quid man, who is starting to look like one of those "looks brilliant when the team are buzzing against poor opposition, but don't give it to me if we are in a battle" type of players. Shaw looked good going forward at times, but both he and McNair looked very poor positionally in defence. Good to see Carrick back and thought that he had a good game but will probably suffer for having to play for so long in a game where he needed to be subbed at about 70mins ..... at least there is no mid week game to follow so he has plenty of recovery time
