The first one up should be a cracker. Not only a Derby between two sets of fans who certainly are rarely on good terms but also the potential that the winner will knock the loser out of the race for the title.
A draw only suits Leicester & those below!!

Watford 0-1 Leicester
While others are seeming to bottle it, Leicester go 5 points clear at the top. Although it has certainly been a team performance, you have to figure that Riyad Mahrez will attract some big money offers come the summer. He is only 25 years old & 15 goals & 11 assists is more than a fair return in the Premiership.
Europe, at the very least, is starting to look more likely than not as they move 11 points clear of 5th. place Hammers. That might prove to be a strain on their resources in doing similar in the Premiership next season. It will be a more pleasant problem to resolve than a relegation battle though!!

All last nights results.....

Tottenham 2 Arsenal 2 ; Southampton 1 Sunderland 1 ; Swansea 1 Norwich 0 ; Chelsea 1 Stoke City 1 ;
Newcastle 1 Bournemouth 3 ; Everton 2 West Ham 3 ; Manchester City 4 Aston Villa 0 ; Watford 0 Leicester 1 ;

Which,of course,means that Leicester are now 5 points clear at the top.
Dreadful result for Newcastle but Bournemouth look almost safe now.
The Hammers look serious Champion League contenders but Everton still need another win to ensure Premiership survival for next season ! :-$

Yeah,when I logged on I firstly saw 747man whingeing about Everton losing after being 2-0 up :oops: then I saw Bob's post on Watford v Leicester.
I did think that Bob had forgotten to post the rest of the results after he had gone on his early morning 4 lap jog of Nong Sim so I inadvertently put the results up again.
747man actually put the results up just minutes after the 3pm matches had finished :shock: quicker than the videprinter on the BBC ! :D
He could well be trying to earn some brownie points in his quest to be a MOD after his driving skills were rejected by a local business over here !
The hot season does finally seem to have arrived.....Tuesday 39c 102f,Wednesday 40c 104f and Thursday 40c 104f :-$

Anyway,back to the footie....tonite its Crystal Palace v Liverpool 8.30pm Thai and West Brom v Man Utd U21's at 11pm Thai......very pleasant weather to sit out and enjoy the games.

A team doesn’t always get what it deserves in any one game, but for Palace to get nothing from yesterday was cruel. The things that are occurring before and during games since the turn of the year amount to a great deal of misfortune, ok some self-inflicted, but even a level-headed Palace director has referred to curse-like events! In Thailand, of course, there would have a convoy of monks by now to carry out a ‘cleansing’. Perhaps the Archbishop of Canterbury could pop in to Selhurst, or maintaining political correctness back there, an Imam? :-" :lol:
