Fabian Delph has signed for Manchester City for 8m GBP on a 5 year deal, less than one week after saying he was staying at Aston Villa.
Bit of a strange one.....cant really see Delph getting that much game time, similar to Jack Rodwell and Scott Sinclair who moved on.

Funny how things can change in a few days.....Roberto Martinez - Jonny Evans, for instance ? ;)

Sadly Evertons only realistic chance of a trophy for the 2015/16 season ended when they were well beaten 3-1 by Arsenal in the Barclays Asia Trophy final in Singapore.
Arsenal turned on the style, being 3 goals up and missing a host of chances, before The Toffees grabbed a consolation goal.
So thats it for Everton fans this season and its only July 19th.....thanks for your input in this thread and we hope to hear from you again this time next year ! :D

Oh cooee I'll have to keep an eye on this thread if you're mentioning the Toffees. I have been doing a little reading.

Wikipedia says "Martinez favours an attacking style of football with importance to both passing and possession".

So hopefully they'll finish higher this year than last year and win some important grudge games.

One post to the online Urban Dictionary says of Mancs:

"An Inhabitant of the English city known as Manchester. Usually of low intelligence or morals and mainly inbred. due mainly because of the slum housing and council estates most mancs spend most of their time committing crimes to subsidise their drug habit.
Officially according to home office reports Manchester has the highest crime rate in England and is also home to some of the countries worse criminals
Dr Shipman
Ian Bradey
Myra Hindley
Mick Hucknall"

Is Zids a Manc? I thought he was such a wholesome fella. :D

I'm actually from leafy South Cheshire about 30 miles away from the city centre of Manchester,GT.
There are certainly some rough areas of Manchester like Hulme,Moss Side,Ardwick,Gorton,Collyhurst etc. but they tend to be supporters of Manchester City as most United supporters live in Surrey,so I'm told ! ;)

Hope you are not returning to the UK for surgery,Alan, and spongeing off the NHS ? :-"
Never mind,Jonny Evans will be a fully fledged Evertonian by the time you get back to Nong Khai ! 8)

No,I dont think United will win the EPL title this season.I,actually, quite fancy Arsenal to make a strong challenge now they have signed Peter Cech.
One of Bobs new icons,Morgan Schneiderlin, scored for Manchester United as they beat Mexican team,Club America,1-0 in Seattle watched by a crowd of 46,887.

Try saying "Schmiling Schweinsteiger,Schmiling Schneiderlin" quickly about 10 times after youve had a few beers ! :-#

I just knew that 747man would bite to my remark ! :D
But heres something else to send him into a wild frenzy, regarding The Toffees......

Chelsea's John Stones bid angers Everton boss Roberto Martinez

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has criticised Chelsea for publicising their bid for defender John Stones.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho confirmed his interest in the 21-year-old England international, saying: "We made a bid because we like the player."
The Toffees are reported to have rejected the £20m offer from the Premier League champions.
"There is the disappointment of a club making a statement to the press and making it openly," said Martinez.
