Swans, Dogs and Blues! There's three of the top 8 according to our experts  After a few scratch matches we'll nominate out top eights and see how we go.
Of course the Scray have no need to finish anywhere above 7th as the bye before the finals is back again.
Good luck to all for the upcoming season. From a personal point of view being reigning premiers is about as weird a feeling as it gets. We'll need to win a few more so I can get used to it.

Well our preseasons done. Nice 10 goal to 2 last quarter in the heat and humidity of the Gold Coast to run over the Suns after giving them a 9 goal head start.
The Bont, Dal, The Package, Libba, Lingy and Jack Macc all running into some fine midfield form before we kick off the premiership defence against the wobbles in a couple of weeks.
As we say down at the kennel - Can't have a premiership hangover if ya still pissed :D
Carn the Scray - Carn the Premiers.......

Lot of crowing even before real bounce has occurred.

Expect the Blues to be ladder leaders after the first game. Possibly be the last time until the GF. \:D/

Good luck to all who follow on the first round.

Gotta milk it for the next two weeks Barn. Never been reigning premiers before in my days. Different from you bluebaggers who used to win the comp every second year or so.

Anyway my top eight for the year.
1. Dogs
2. Saints
3. Giants.
4. Swannies
5. Crows
6. Cats
7. Hawks
8. Eagles
9. Dees
10. Suns
11. Blues
12. Port
13. Freo
14. Lions
15. Tiges
16. Wobbles

Marcus Bontempelli will win the Brownlow.

Saints will win the flag.

Bucks sacked round 14

Crystal ball: AFL.com.au's 2017 season predictions

I accidently logged onto this site today and was shocked to see that 99% of the so called experts have picked GWS to win the flag. No way will the Vics let another Sydney team take the honors.
More surprising is the predictors have all bar 1 or 2 predicted Carlton to run last. Are we tanking from day one?

Any way time will tell, I have to go look for a huge humble pie recipe for these tossers.
Caaarrrrn the Blues.

For you Barney, though the study is flawed as it assumes that NRL players have brains 5555

Barney the flag (s) has been handed to GWS on a platter. They have a squad full of top 10 draft pics and experienced superstars. The franchise has been set up to be a dominant force because those who run the show know that there is little or no interest in the Australian game in western Sydney (or in reality anywhere north of Wagga Wagga) and for any chance of survival , let alone success, the franchise needs to win flags. Look at the Brisbane Lions example: won three flags in a row but can't pill a crowd over 20,000 to save themselves these days.
Thanks god the doggies got up last year as the franchise will be hard to stop for the next 10. Our only hope is that because they are playing for a plastic club with no history, culture or tradition that they just play for the money and don't really have a red hot go.

2005, 2012 , plus 3 runner ups recently, membership hit 50,000 already, just North of Wagga Wagga, place called Syd Knee.

Turn North out of that quarry in Sunshine and keep going cant miss it ....5555
