Hello!
I'm wondering they are a professional fighter or they are just some beginners who want to fight!?
Thanks!

I wonder if we can get a McGregor vs. Diaz fight again.

If UFC is going to put us to sleep with another boring Woodley vs. Wonderboy fight like 209 was, why not rack up some views with Nate going at Conor again?

Conor vs. Floyd Mayweather will never happen, Floyd's just ducking as usual.

Too bad traditional boxing stinks because otherwise Gennady Golovkin would have had a few major fights by now and reign supreme.

I don't think your right saying that about boxing, Joshua vs Klitshko just did 90,000 fans at Wembley and was screened all over the world on PPV, if there is so much money in the UFC then why does McGregor want to fight Mayweather ? Because he knows that fight will be huge on PPV.

I think unless Conor can land a lucky shot on Mayweather or Mayweather has significantly declined then he has no chance, I don't think he will have an answer for the speed, timing and accuracy of Mayweathers jab, plus I can't see him having much success landing and against the philly shell and shoulder roll , Mayweather MD or KO or Conor gets disqualified for something which would really make it a farce if he's loosing and breaks the rules.

Triple G , holds 3 out of 4 of the major middle weight titles, is 37-0 with a 89% KO rate only Billy Joe Saunders holds the WBO who triple G would destroy , is that not reigning supreme ? I do agree he needs to fight Alvarez though.

I am not knocking the UFC I love it I enjoy most fights not just the big ones , You get a lot of smaller MMA fights on UFC fight pass, there is a rising star in Canada called Tony Laramie 2-0 he's only 5 foot 2 though so might not have enough quality contenders if he makes it but ive seen both his fights on fight pass TKO Canada and the skill set is amazing for an 18 year old.

Yeah I can see what you're saying on the Bitchko vs. Joshua. And I'm very glad Joshua KO'd Wladimir as it's likely the only way he would have won. I hope it can be built upon as I was tired of them. Hoping for more epic heavyweight fighters to emerge.

Agreed Conor hasn't got a chance against Floyd's defence. And because of that I don't think Floyd needs to take the fight.

I think Conor and Nate should go again. Nate fell asleep on Conor last time and should have taken it to the ground like he planned. I know that's easier said than done and even think Nate threw the fight a bit thinking he'd get a 3rd fight. Just a theory. Maybe he thought he could go toe to toe again and catch Conor with the lucky shot.

I think GGG should get Alvarez and more, some real paydays, after being ducked by everyone for so long.

I'll check out Tony Laramie.

I still re-watch old classic fights like James Toney vs. Vassily Jirov, Chico Corrales (RIP) vs. Jose Luis Castillo, Floyd vs. Ricky Hatton, etc.

There's a great radio show streamed out of San Francisco called Ringtalk LIVE, I've called in a few times and talked with Larry Merchant etc., a great show and it's been running for over 33 years. http://ringtalk.com
Sausalito, CA– If you’ve been like myself, looking at the current boxing landscape you haven’t been all that excited. In some cases you might have had to take Viagra to get up for some of these so-called big fights that promoters have been putting forth.

COMPETITIVE FIGHT HAD “FIREWORKS”

But the Anthony Joshua win over Wladimir Klitschko, it was a boxing match that gave boxing a “Jump Start” as the sport in the minds of some has had a dead battery. And if this heavyweight shootout wasn’t your cup of tea, we are just five days from the Canelo Alvarez-Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. showdown.

SNOWELL THINKS WLAD SHOULD CONTINUE

As Wladimir (64-5, 54 KOs) contemplates retirement, the trainer of several world heavyweight champs, the great Aaron Snowell thinks Wlad should call out the much-avoided (27-0, 23 KOs) Luis “individual Kong” Perez.

HERE IS “THE KEY” TO BEATING JOSHUA, ET AL

Any matchup involving Cuba’s Ortiz brings intrigue because he is short and throws “nuclear” uppercuts, AKA the unconventional shot. And if you’re going to beat these big guys, you MUST hit them with punches they can’t see, meaning Hooks & Uppercuts.

AARON NOT DOING WLAD ANY FAVORS

Stopped four times, each Klitschko loss outside of the Tyson Fury fight which was a UD 12, was preceded by his getting hit with something the 1996 Olympic Gold medalist didn’t see incoming.

NOBODY SINCE DEMPSEY & JACK JOHNSON

With 90,000 people buying tickets for the Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs) Klitschko Wembley Stadium event, I had to ask trainer Aaron Snowell when was the last time an American drew 90,000? Aaron brought up Jack Johnson and Jack Dempsey doing around 100,000 paid in the early parts of the 20th century.

LISTEN TO SUNDAY RING TALK RIGHT NOW!

On the Sunday edition of “Ring Talk,” we heard from Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua, in addition to historian “Sin City” Richey and the trainer of champs, Aaron Snowell.

MMA & Boxing thread sounds good,

Yes I am much the same as you I love checking out the older fights another one I liked was Toney vs Holyfield and also some of his earlier fights like Nunn, Williams and Mccallum fights were great.

If there going to market Joshua as the next big PPV star its really got to be against the top heavyweights , either Wilder, Parker, Ortiz, Pulev etc 2-3 fights a year and clean up the division, He does have impressive power but I still believe he's quite vulnerable for the fact that in the mid rounds he seems to fight good for half a round then gasses out, when he took out Vlad he looked out on his feet but fortunately for him he stopped him, he wasn't far from being stopped in the sixth Vlad admitted he eased off cause he was sure the stoppage would come, but I guess vulnerability is what makes him exciting to watch.

Diaz vs Mcgregor 3 is a must I think there a chance we might have to wait a bit cause Dana White doesn't seem to want it now plus you have the whole Mayweather saga.

Id be rooting for Diaz in that one not a fan of McGregor think he's a ----- though he can certainly sell a fight.

Ill check out that radio show ;)

UFC fight pass is a bargain, you get loads of other events on it such as Invicta ,Cage warriors, TKO Canada, plus you get exclusive prelims of all UFC events, unfortunately you don't get the prelims or the main event on it in most areas because it switches to whichever broadcaster is designated to that area, there is also an extensive back catalogue of fights and shows, not bad for £5.99 a month.

Nothing gives me greater joy than seeing anyone of the Diaz dipsticks losing.

They are uncouth, obnoxious SOBs...

If McGregor is a ----- then Diaz is the bit the ----- is attached to...plus the appendages and the bit "just around the corner".
If it looks good..and smells good..go for it..

Mayweather vs McGregor was possibly penciled in for the 16th of September but that's definitely off cause GGG vs Canelo is booked for that date.

Golovkin vs Alvarez a done deal.
