A new thread for the new season, I looked for one, but couldn't find one, so here it is.
My initial thoughts for the new season are:
Come on you mighty whites.
LUFC. Marching on together. :D

Looking at the current Championship teams. i think it will be between Leeds United, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough & Fulham.
Sheff Weds will do well, but not well enough, as will Sheff U. Sunderland and Hull, pose no real threat.
LUFC all the way for me.

MOT.

At the mo I reckon it's the Smoggies to lose,
Leeds, Sheff Wed, Fulham (if they actually want to get promoted), Villa (if Captain J(i)terry) has got any "legs" left and Birmingham fighting it out for the other 2 places.
Dark Horse will be Preston North End

Bookies have us as finishing 10th and they don't get it wrong often. Maybe we have the white tinted glasses on!!

Add Derby to the teams to be up there.

Good to see Everton mentioned in the grass roots thread. Its where they belong. When football eventually goes down the NFL franchise route, Liverpool will only have one Premier club and, its clear which is the bigger team.

Nobody's mentioned my team. Norwich. Under performed last season big time.
Complete restructuring of the club on and off the field, same BRITISH owners, and a very highly rated new German coach following in the footsteps of Wagner and Klopp, ie he's from Borussia Dortmund FC.
May not be this season, the club will allow him time and the new team to gel, but if not this, then the following season they will go up in the top 2 automatic places.

So you're focusing on a minor defeat and forgetting the great victories. So far this pre-season LUFC have beaten Harrogate Town, (a bit like Huddersfield, but different), Guisley and North Ferriby. :-"
And as you already know, our season is going to be a roller coaster, where as yours will a bit like the happy train in Central Plaza. \:D/

Just watched the highlights of our 1-1 draw with Monchengladbach yesterday. Ridiculous comment based on 10 minutes of a meaningless friendly, but, if I was allowed to gamble in the LOS, I would be putting the Pan Motor 50 baht on us to go up. We look pretty good! Remind me of this post in 10 months....
