The Grass Roots Footie 2022/23 thread might be very lively. Perhaps even the Map's most lively thread.

There may be a couple of teams looking for a Thai megafan soon.
Back in about 2010 when Newcastle were relegated we had that nice Khun Abhisit in charge and he arranged for a Thai TV company to show Championship games that year so we still got about 40% of our games on Thai TV

"Anfield has been ruled out of hosting games at Euro 2028, should the UK and Ireland bid be successful, because the pitch is too small, meaning the city of Liverpool could miss out on the tournament if Everton's new Bramley Moore Dock home is not ready in time."

From Mail

With the money and Power in Premier League, I would have thought they would have snubbed out any use of sub standard sized pitches in their competition long ago [-X

"Cardiff are chasing £80m in compensation from Nantes as they claim the death of Emiliano Sala cost them relegation from the Premier League."

something tells me they aren't gonna get too far with that, but if they do, I'm sure they will happily hand back the parachute payments they received and re instate all the wage cuts they put on their players and staff . T suspect they may end up out of pocket on this deal but ......up to them as they say

"DAILY RECORD

Rangers have reportedly held talks with Tottenham over a glamour pre-season friendly game at Ibrox."

Lets face it ANY English team (even Scunthorpe) would be a "Glamour pre season friendly" for a Scottish team

Coventry travelling to Stoke today.

Notts Forest play Hull. I'd like to see Forest promoted for next season.

In other news, Rangers are in the final of the Europa League while the Hammers aren't.

How are the Evertons doing? Remember he who laughs last, laughs best.

Your Toronto Maple Leafs beat Tampa Bay last night, 5-2, and are now up two games to one.
