Match day, and today we have WBA vs Leeds United. Following last week's win at Wigan, here's hoping the mighty whites can make it 2 away wins on the bounce going into the international break.

Aaah, Delia, bless her.
As much stick as she gets, some of it justified, she has the club's best interests at heart, and is one of the better club owners in English football, and we would still rather have her than some foreign "investor".

Also noticed Leed's head coach, the much respected Argentinian in an interview. The guy ca'nt speak a word of English?
How does that work on the training pitch and in a half time team talk in the dressing room?
A translator needed to pass the question on. Bielsa answers the question in Spanish. Translator translates and answers question in English..........
Our current German coach is more easy to understand than the previous two Scottish ones, Lambert in particular - could'nt understand a word.

Last two games, 8 goals scored in the 2nd half......
Last game, a cracker, Carrow Rd went wild at the end.
Norwich 0 Millwall 1 half time
1:1,
2:1
2:2 one minute later
2:3 83 mins
3:3 90+2 mins
4:3 90+7 mins

After the excitement of watching England win last week it's back to proper football this week.
In a rare non-TV appearance week for Leeds United sees them at home to one of a pair of Bristols. After their last outing a good performance and result is much needed.

The excitement also shrouded the fact that Fort William earned a 3-all draw with bottom-tablers Clachnacuddin a couple of weeks back. That improved their points tally to -7 after the deductions a couple of months back for fielding an ineligible player (or two).

Unfortunately, two days later, they were hammered 13-0 at the Broch.

Excellent win for the mighty whites yesterday. and further good news for LUFC is that Patrick Bamford, one of our long term injuries, is back in training.
Have a look at this little beauty of a goal and Marcelo Bielsa's reaction. :D \:D/

^ Not critical of Leeds or their manager (lovely 1-2-3 BTW) but is this proof positive that OTT goal celebrations are part and parcel of footie practices?

A nice 3 points for LUFC last night. With both Boro and Norwich dropping points, a good night. Leeds leapfrog the smoggies into 2nd, and close the gap to 1 point on the leaders, Norwich.
It needed a cracking last minute penalty save from LUFC's young keeper to secure the points, but all's well that end's well.

Not sure if they still have the "pools" back in UK but if they do then Chesterfield MUST be a firm favorite for inclusion ...... they have now draw their last NINE National League games

Forest were 4 - 3 up then had a guy sent off
Villa equalised then took the lead before 10 man Forest tied it up
Just read the report and villa had the ball in the net twice more after it became 5 - 5 one ruled out for hand ball and what would have been Tammy Abraham's 5th goal ruled out for offside

Nine goals scored and Seven goals conceded in 3 days ...... Looks like Dean Smiths coaching is being undone by John Terry's defensive coaching ability

A tough game in prospect for LUFC today away at Sheffield Utd. (19:30 Thai.) Obviously I am hoping that in what is sure to be a cracking and intense match, the mighty whites can blunt the blades.
