I hit a search engine to search for the most hated EPL clubs. The top three seemed to be Chelsea, Man U and Liverpool. West Ham and Arsenal weren't too popular either. 747man seems to be somewhat more in tune with the average EPL supporter than I appreciated.

I'm keenly waiting for Alan and Taxifor7/11's banter. And for any high level analysis from any football brains on our out of the way forum.

Perhaps the more sophisticated posters might let us know what formal qualifications on football they might have. I'm looking forward to being impressed. I understand these kinds of qualifications have been in the UK a long time. We have them now in NZ too.

What our learned sheep shearing Kiwi friend fails to take into account is that the reason Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are the most unpopular is because they have been the most successful over the years.
Everton aren't on the list because they have won nearly ---- all in over 30 years.
Two years ago they sacked Sam Allardyce after they finished 7th.They hired a new manager, spent a fortune on new players and now employ one of the highest paid coaches in the world.
Yet they are currently 11th.A club with such a shocking record will never be unpopular to the neutral fan.

4 years ago everton sit 11th on 38 points , they announce a new investor 400 mill spent and 28 signings,ffw 4 years and everton sit 12th on 37 points, you couldn,t make it up

If it doesnt re start it will just be expunged from the records as were the "war" seasons.

Be a bit of a shame for Liverpool who if it had been cancelled two weeks later would probably have won the championship but on the bright side they will still be able to go for a hat trick of Champions League finals next year.
