Christ you guys give a whole new perspective of grumpy old men!

Personally, I would have settled for a scenario where we had all but qualified with a game to spare and then be in the lottery of a knockout tournament.

Not sure if Tamada actually believes what he says or is just doing it to wind the English up but, I will again, be proud to see us amongst the best 16 in the world in a truly global tournament that only 8 countries have won. We have no divine right to do well but, we consistently do under Southgate so, well done,

As for bringing Scotland into this, they are, as a footballing nation, embarrassing.
Why are all the Englanders beating their gums about Scotland's undeniably crap football team instead of focusing on being an also-ran (again)?

They are facing a tougher squad than Belgium and are behind the 8-ball, 2-l. However, there is still hope for British North America yet if they can score two more and surrender none. How likely is that?

Oh oh...that might be the final nail in the British North American coffin.

Why are the Canucks wearing New Zealand colours?

A miracle is needed starting right now for British North America to win a splendid comeback and victory, 5-4.

Critics are saying the Canucks should have folded the tent after that first goal, and played strictly defence. The answer to that is, with who? This team is designed to push for goals down the flanks, not to park the bus. Croatia opened up the mid-field and took over the game in an impressive fashion.

Bye Bye British North America.

There needs to be a few rule changes before the next World Cup.

Ridiculous sized goal needs to be adjusted to Standard 6x4 ft

Puck thingy needs filling with something solid, as air just makes it fly like a beachball (and doesnt hurt when get hit)

Yellow cards as a maximum penalty for dropping the gloves midfield and having a game changing scrap

These rules need to be adopted quickly before the Cup is played on British North American soil. Your heart is in the right place, Khun Statts.

Yeah, a goal in a minute and eleven seconds, the quickest goal in the World Cup so far? 555!

Croatia are a team to watch, I reckon.

Hang on, I thought you weren't interested in the World Cup?

Can we look forward to a Wales - England draw tomorrow?

Some sports media has been making much of how Messi and Ronaldo have both missed out on a World Cup medal. After breaking his World Cup goal duck, Lewandowski has now been added to the 'deserving' winners list. In my mind, the only deserving standout of that generation is Luka Modric. With his midfield mastery, how many goals as he made for others?
