Still 1-1 and less than 10 minutes left on LMY's soccer field. ;)

Come on Newcastle.

The Guardian reports:
Meslier plucks the corner from the sky.

The Guardian reports:
Firpo is slightly fortunate not to see yellow again after hauling Fraser to the ground.
I prefer LYM's English.

Yes, The Guardian again:
Murphy turns on the jets and makes it down the left from box to box. Leeds shut the gate just in time.
A friggin' gate?

So you watched the whole second half as well? Good practice. That sort of intestinal fortitude should work in Qatar.

Anyone up for the Canaries breaking their Hornets duck? No? Thought so.

It was a very good game that even the neutrals would have enjoyed.
End to end action, with two very shakey defenses and forwards that had a spot of bother hitting the proverbial barn door. I expected Newcastle to run out of steam after about 75 mins, but unlike previous outings this season they kept going until the final whistle. My 2 - 4 prediction could easily have come in as Raphinha missed a sitter, as did Junior and Bamford managed to hit Darlow with a shot when it would have been easier to score (either side of him). Richie hit the post, Almiron missed a sitter and Joelinton did exaxtly the same as Bamford.
38 Attempts and 16 on target makes for entertainment and in truth I didnt even nod off at any time during the game (a rarity with 2am kick offs)

And there was a blatant penalty which, for some reason, didnt go to VAR.

Speaking of which, why do we never get indirect free kicks for obstruction anymore?

Some interesting scorelines from yesterdays games .. Man City lucky not to loose after the Saints not given astone wall penalty .. and ..Nigglys graphics missed off the Villa 3 Everton 0 scoreline which im sure will be defended in the usuual manner (talkin BS) by our lilac friend from Nong Khai at some point.

Has the Rafa bubble burst ??? as the Toffees looked like at best a bottom half side on that performance.

My graphics were perfectly accurate, nobody of any consequence cares about Everton so the graphic was duly ignored.
