Benitez, adored and respected on Tyneside. Yes?
Becomes the Everton boss and signs? - Andros Townsend.
Is it his or someone else's judgement on what makes a good player awry?

Just another one of An Dros Townsends hit and hope shots.......... fact it sailed into the top corner of the net was just a fluke, as most end up in the corner near the flag.
Bet theres a load of scallies waiting for Bramley Moor Dock to be built so as they can fish Townsends shots out of the Mersey and sell the balls
As they say in Accrington, "A goal's a goal regardless of how't found back of t'net.

They say similar at Claggan Park but only on very, very rare occasions you understand.
'Don't waste your words on people who deserve your silence'

Ah, Steve Bruce. Put on 'gardening leave' at Palace, when apparently more interested in trying to get the Birmingham City job.

This weeks stick yer neck out" predictions are :-

Crystal Palace 0 - 3 Spuds (Its not August so Harry Kane Hat trick)
Arsenal 2 - 1 Norwich (Arteta safe for another week)
Brentford 0 - 0 Brighton (Time to offer to go xmas shopping with the misses)
Leicester 2 - 2 Man City
Man Utd 3 - 0 Newcastle (Interesting to see who takes the predictable MU pen Ronaldo or Bruno)
Southampton 1 - 1 West Ham
Watford 0 - 2 Wolves
Chelski 6 - 0 Villa
Leeds 2 - 2 Liverpool (Brace for Jota)
Everton 3 - 1 Burnley

Just a quick heads up for possibly a "nice little earner"

Assuming Ronaldo starts for Man U

Newcastle have given away a pen in every league match so far this season (cr*p defending giving ref the op to blow and VAR to make more ridiculous calls) Man Utd are at home and we all know refs just love giving them pens at Old Trafford,
CR7 is playing his first game back so will take any pens on offer (He IS Ronaldo after all)
CR7 loves to show his 6 pack to his adoring fans, and constantly removes his shirt after scoring
CR7 is good enough to score even without pens
CR7 WILL SCORE and CR7 WILL be booked (and that's currently 6/1 :-" )

Yes, yes! Man U win for me today, I'm in such a tizz I can feel a fanny flutter coming on.

I want to see the Gooners crash and burn - I reckon Norwich will be going dog's knackers out for points.
Not sure about an Everton win....really?

No not "Glad all over" ..... I was referring to that chant from the "hotel end"? (we love you?) that you usually hear about 5 mins before the end of a game, which makes you suddenly think ....... there are Palace fans in the ground after all

Case Proven me lord .......... 75 mins of it being like Scunthorpe on a wet Wednesday then Palace score and from 76th minute place is rockin' to "we love you" :-"

:drunk: Yellow card for Ronaldo incoming ......... 6/1

Opinion among toon fans seems to be that if we can keep it to less than a 4 goal spread its a good result given our current squad 8-[

One of the very few times I wish I was in blighty ............ with no live TV for 3pm games :-"
