From the Saudi game:

Image
A subsequent post from the official Croydon Metropolitan Police Twitter account read: “On Saturday 23 October police received a report of an offensive banner displayed by Crystal Palace fans. Officers are assessing the information and carrying out enquiries. Any allegations of racist abuse will be taken very seriously.”
From the great rag that Alex doesn't rate ... https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... orked-with

:shock:
Nice to see the Croydon police and Selhurst Park security staff were on the ball and checking people entering the stadium, Must have been pretty uncomfortable for whoever had that rolled up down their trouser leg ..... at least it wasnt a bomb (this time)

Are banners not a frequent sight at EPL stadiums?

And do any of them look like a bomb?

I thought it was an astute piece of social commentary. Surely the rozzers have far more important work to do.

93, should this sort of report be of concern not just to you, but the FA, and the Newcastle board and supporters?
A former senior Saudi intelligence officer has claimed that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is a “psychopath with no empathy” who once boasted that he could kill the kingdom’s ruler at the time, individual Abdullah, and replace him with his own father.......

....... According to Aljabri’s account of alleged plans to assassinate him in Canada, a six-person team landed at Ottawa airport in mid-October 2018, lied to Canadian border officials about knowing one another, and carried suspicious equipment for DNA analysis. The team was deported by Canada after being intercepted by the authorities at the airport....

Wot? Not at the Palace games?
Dont see any mention on the Palace bañner about their own co owner David Blitzer for the $20B his company received from the very same P i f fund that own Newcastle =;

Stones & Greenhouses spring to mind

The banner has become quite a talking point on the Palace fans' forum,with references to what has and is happening at other Clubs too. I've no idea of the accuracy of your statement, but with the addition of 'someone's mentioned this'. I've copied it to the forum and expect a reaction.

Congratulations to the palace fans who made the banner. They did a great public service. Might I suggest the next banner have the word "psychopath" on it? :lol:

The EPL and Newcastle are nuts hooking up with someone as toxic as Bone Saw :evil: and a country as oppressive as Saudi Arabia. :evil:
