Good to see Kane between the sticks. He can lean up against them and have a nap if he's not busy (again).

I can see the strengths in playing out from the back but Pickford as lone striker?.. still questionable.

Foden is not a right winger. Hes at his best in the free attacking midfield role he plays for Manchester City.
Sancho should play on the right and Grealish on the left.
No place for Sterling... ever again... and Maguire and Kane can come on as subs.

Phillips was a firebrand against Croatia but well off the boil against Scotland so who would be a good sub for him if he fails to shine again?

Foden has been pulled twice in as many games so do you see him being good for the whole 90'?

Foden has been played out of position in the two games, so far. If he,s pulled off again replace him with Saka of Arsenal and move Grealish inside.
Don't replace him with Sterling.
Phillips could be replaced by Rice, another DM.
I don't think he will play Chilwell and, more likely, Trippier.
In fact it wouldn't surprise me if he played the team that started against Croatia.... Mr Cautious.

Largely agree with your team Zid although I'd still pick Kane and anyone ahead of Mings.

The 2 Chelski full backs give added attacking options and, Phillips is much better as a QB protecting the central defenders and dropping in when the full backs go forward.

Kane is too good a player to not come good at some point although, if we had a top striker like Che Adams to push him, he might struggle to keep his place.

Not sure Niggly .. its a developing story with more scottish footballers being tested obviously having been in contact with Bolly Gilmor in traning and team.hotel ..the only player safe so far is Wandering Wee Wlly Mcmarshall who has been nonwhere near any other players as he did in the Cech game .. he was recently found wandering around the hotel gardens wearing just his sporan and gloves apparently having a flashback from the long range shot that beat him... doctirs are saying he should make a full.recovery in time

Some good news for Scotland. The other 25 players in the squad trained on Monday morning and all tested negative from precautionary lateral flow tests immediately afterwards. PA Media reports that the Scotland camp are confident no players will be deemed close contacts of Gilmour when Public Health England completes its review of the situation. The squad are travelling up from the north east of England to Glasgow on two planes to ensure strict social distancing.

Must of been an off the field coming together Tam as on the pitch none of the England superstars got close to Gilmor , the young wee jammy ran rings round them... Chilwell was a sub ???? ... maybe in the Scottish love of thrftyness saving money maybe both sides bathed together.
