To think that a few weeks ago it was odds on Everton getting relegated and the Gobshites getting the quadruple.

And here we are, Everton stayed up and the Gobshites are parading their 2 losses and 2 draws.
You have really got to have sub-basement level expectations when you see barely avoiding relegation as some sort of achievement.

As opposed to losing a UEFA final.

Says it all jumbo.

As a neutral you have to say Los Blancos deserved to win having beaten PSG/Citeh/Chelski/Liverpuddle to do so.

As expected we had the usual biased waffle from the Liverpuddle Pundits, so I was reasonably happy RM won so the like of Stevie Nicol & co had to stuff it in their pipes & smoke it and Carragher had to cough up 260 Euros for a failed bet on live TV =D> =D> =D>

BTW on at least one channel (sky I think) they reported Pepper Spray AND Tear Gas were used

Just shows what Carlo can achieve when he can be bothered :-k
PSG/Citeh/Chelski/Liverpuddle ,really?you sound like the nong khai nutter

So you've posted five times in about two and a half hours to try and wind Alan up on this thread and another on the Premiership thread since 3.45 UK time. This is bordering on the obsessive - it looks like he's living inside your head rent free.

It seems to have been a bit of a circus. I wonder what any review might establish about why the people claiming to be Liverpool supporters couldn't get seated in time.

GT I think its all fake news ......... the kids climbing the fences/gates in the video were clearly experienced gate/wall jumpers ....the sort of thing your average scally in Scouseland would be familiar with to get away over the back walls.
The scenes with Reds fans crying their eyes out was clearly taken AFTER the game and can be witnessed after any Liverpool match that the players failed to win

Listening to radio coverage of the build up and aftermath, it appears the Liverpool fans, as is the tradition of English supporters, partied longer and harder before heading to the stadium. Not unexpected and since they were banned from the inner city, no harm done. The Spanish supporters pretty much traveled later, went to the stadium on time and didn't cause a sudden logjam.

Having said that, it appears that the management of the gates and turnstiles was a disaster with inadequate staffing levels and too many gates not being manned and thus closed. One female supporter was searched eight times during her struggle to get inside which sounds like a huge waste of effort.

There's also the kneejerk reaction where the police appear to have prepared for violent out of control LFC fans but didn't get any violence that deserved teargas. It looks like they overreacted to a surge of frustrated but non-threatening supporters caused by their inappropriate and dangerous kettling and unnecessary teargassing.

There's also the issue of fake tickets. Just heard Andy Robertson saying the tickets he gave to friends were rejected as fake: concessionary LFC tickets. Spoke to my pal back in Lancs last night and a couple of his mates with official tickets were also turned away.

Something is rotten in Stade de France.

It will be interesting to see why the Real Madrid supporters didn't seem to have a problem getting into the ground. It seems to have been a bloody shambles.

I'm a bit surprised at people taking disabled or elderly family members to the match. Bloody FOOTBALL!!!!! can get a bit rough for the spectators.

Its a normal thing with Bloody Football GT t o have a special section of the ground (usually a couple of hundred seats) available for disabled supporters, however there were so many Liverpool fans who were claiming disability money from social services that they had to make the section of Anfield called "The kop" disabled only

OK, no need to get defensive but you have to admit that Alan and Everton really are living rent free in your head. It's midnight Thai time and the wee fat fella is fast asleep in Nong Khai while you're posting six responses to him in two and a half hours. Not difficult to see your obsession when there's little activity on the forum.

I'm probably out of touch but I don't associate watching sport and drinking large amounts of alcohol. The UK seems to be different? The impression I'm getting is that many UK football fans at a game, including this one, are likely to be half drunk.
