Certainly not, they would have stood up and got shot at by the enemy, or whatever their superior officer told them to do, in much the same way as soldiers always have. Sitting on their hands would have required a direct order like get up/go to bog etc etc

Any updates on the sale of Man United? Could be interesting if the Qataris buy it. Already a few direct flights per day from Doha to Manchester. Maybe they'll give free flights with the cost of a season ticket. About the same travel time from Doha as the rest of the Man U fans who live in London :lol:

They cant offer a free season ticket deankham, that idea was copyrighted by McDonalds when they offered a free Sunderland Season Ticket with a happy meal :-"

But that couldn't have been when Sunderland used to HAMMER Yous a few times for a number of seasons in the past ........
