Fridays will be cancelled then played as normal at the weekend . Cricket cancelled one day. UEFA did not cancel the Thurs night games involving British teams so no reason for FA to cancel Sat games as minutes silence and black armbands should suffice.
Its UK not Thailand, I doubt very much they will ban entertainment and pubs opening for a month or more =;
Fridays will be cancelled then played as normal at the weekend .....Oh NO They WON'T,So You needn't bother with you Predictions This Weekend....Thank God !! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Timed my trip back to the UK to coincide with this weekends fixtures. A bit of a bitch if they cancel the games this weekend because of the death of a non football loving nonagenarian.
HM DID love football ..... she was just very particular who she gave the cup to :-"

Im assuming that the midweek Euro games are going ahead, as there has been no cancellations yet.
People talking about some games at the weekend at risk, surely if they were then fans would have been told before now as travel would need sorting (7 days before?) to avoid paying top prices,
Was it just me thinking that all the "posh" sports Rugby/cricket/boxing/horse racing all went ahead last week end but the poor mans sport footie got cancelled ......... strange that ..... not

Yes, nobody of significance died in Europe. If the average long-distance EPL footie boor is scared of wasting money on "top prices", they could always pop over to any European venue and catch a game there.

Provided they have time to spend hours at Dover waiting to process Brexit red tape :-"

Come to light that several major hotel chains are refusing to refund even part of the cost of hotel rooms that were cancelled due to late postponements last week.

They had 70 years to plan for last weekend, HM was 96, and Govt were like errr well I dont know, up to you if you play, and FA were like, well we dont know, its so unexpected we haven't got any plans worked out ....... How much are these ministers and FA execs paid? Heads need to roll

Back to the UK last Thursday in time for the weekends cancelled footie and now Sundays game at Old Trafford is called off 2 hours after I got my ticket. Only remaining game left to see is early October. All because a minority of Brits want to indulge in one of their favourite pursuits of wallowing in unwarranted nostalgia and self pity.

Speaking of self pity, who is wallowing in it now? And, for what? Oh yes, a meaningless soccer game. Your self pity is unwarranted.

As a colonial cousin Uncle, perhaps you are unaware of how seriously we Brits take our football, which is probably best summed up with a quote attributed to the late great Bill Shankley ....
"“Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more ..."

No, we British North Americans are a dour lot, lacking in wit and any sense of self-worth. We are the product of colonialism. Yes, I understood you and was trying to answer in kind.

In that case. I am a worthless piece of poo who indulges in hypocrisy of the worst kind :D. I unreservedly apologise for any offence caused to my colonial cousin
