NL record crowd expected for tomorrows game against Notts County n Scunny .. the Iron having taken their full allocation of 2000 and Notts selling out rest of the stadium.. circa 15k with segregation for a NL fixture is bonkers .

this wont be 0-0 .. or 1-0 plenty of goals so im going for 2-2 ... or praying for 3-2 to Scunny ..

BEST THING IS EVERYONE IS EXPECTING US TO GET THRASHED but its a funny old game and i know all Asian Iron fans will be cheering including my lilac buddy in Nk

News in from Nottingham that the NL fixture today v Scunthorpe United could see an attendance nudging 17000 .. which is crazy for a non league fixture.

Scunnys request for more away supporter tickets has been turned down with some buying tickets for the home end , the following Tuesday night match v York city should also see a bumper turn out with the Iron already selling all 1000 tickets and requesting another 500

A few injury worries for the Iron most worrying is the keeper El Chappo 6ft 8" monster a real doubt.

**This just in on the SUFC website from a mate of a desperate Iron fan whose wedding clashes with the game today.

Hi guys
One of my mates has two spare tickets with hospitality for the Notts County game. He didn’t realise when he bought them that it was going to be the same day as his wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place.

It’s at Scunthorpe Registry Office, at 2.30pm. The bride’s name is Moira, she’s 5’6″, about 8 stone, quite pretty, has her own income and is a really good cook.

In other news, I understand England played last night and Statts stayed up to watch it. Something about Harry breaking a record?

Italy 1-2 England
The game was on channel 5 which was a bonus as they have a +1 channel. 3.45AM rather than 2.45AM.

I see Leeds fans skewed the Beebs rather futile MOTM award. See below for Gnontos rather generous award for his 20 minute cameo.

Midnight Saturday, we play Ukraine or do the clocks go forward this weekend in which case it's a very civilised 11PM? Win and we've as good as qualified.

Scunny loose at Notts County AS PREDICTED BY ME AND EXPECTED BY ALL LEVEL HEADED FANS ..

Out played n nary a sniff against the best footballing side in the NL by a country mile ... pleased to get that one out the way with only 6/7 more games to go all winnable and against the teams around us at the bottom the survival miracle is still on...Maidstone and Torquay looked doomed.

** Big shout out to the 2000 traveling Iron fans and the 14000 Notts county supporters for the nice moment when the whole stadium including the game stopped to applaud in the 17th minute in rememberance of a young scunny fan Owen Newton who passed away recently at only 17 year of age.

York City away Tuesday night with another 1500 expected to travel.

I caught the first 5 mins of the Notts v Scunny game at half time in the Scotland v Cyprus game. Good following for Scunny but, even in those 5 mins, it looked a bit one sided.

The standard of football when I changed channels to the Jocks dropped markedly.

A tough game for sure. The Tuesday night York City game might give your lot a point to get to 34 or a win at a stretch. However, look at Gateshead playing Dagenham the same night - there's an opportunity for Scunthorpe there.

Keep snatching the points and Scunthorpe may just stay up. Close that gap between yourselves and Gateshead. Don't forget your new signings.

Not only Gateshead but they have games in hand .. also Yeovil , Dorking and even York are still in the mix at the bottom as Scunny have still to play them all and Torquay who appear doomed along with Maidstone.

The survival miracle door is still very slightly ajar ..

As they are not officially in a union, technically you are right, however not being in a Union means the Tories cant change the law to make the "strike" illegal .........it's just individual players withdrawing their services
