Despite winning their last game today, it looks like my beloved Accrington Stanley are plunging out of League 1. The up side is they're going down along with their derby rivals Morcambe.

I may be cadging for that pint soon.

Two amazing NL play off games with lots of drama , late goals ... both ending 3-2 so Notts County n Chesterfield (where they make the sofas) will meet in the final.

2 great games yesterday as you say DM.

I'm here in preparation for a return to the nether regions thread next year which will, thank goodness, be a scouse free zone...... oh, wait a minute.

Today sees the NL play off final at Wemberlee ... Chesterfield v Notts C.. Notts , also playing there are local SCUNTHORPE side Messingham who reached the final of the national school/juniors final.

Other important dates for your calendars

17th May .. Scunthorpe united fans forum meeting with owner and manager in attendance.
also
24th May is the deadline day for the signing over of Glanford Park ground from Swan the old chairman to the new Mr Hilton, this causing a lot of division amongst fans (over 1000 to date) who have bought season tickets at the early bird prices.
31st May .. my lovely little girl Jack Russel Jilly birthday

Yes, you'll need one to seat DM at Jilly's birthday party.

Congrtas to Notts County on winning the NL playoff and finally getting into the EFL L2 ... they did it the hard way beating chesterfield on penalties after coming from behind twice.

Well deserved on their attacking style of football throughout the season and huge points total (107) ..travesty avoided.

Commiserations to the Sprites.

Jack nothing planned yet for Jillys birthday .. tho she will be getting a day at the salon a bone and a cake, both her and Jack her BF are very happy now having a bigger secure space to run about in.

With the same fashion protocols?

Hope not as I doubt DM's diaphanous negligee fits any more. As for his tiara, hasn't been seen since he sat on it.

Sorry to break the news Tam but my current bedroom attire isnt sheer see through or indeed sexy as i had a set of claret n blue kit replica SCUNTHORPE UNITED pyjamas sent over from the club shop ... im sure in your head even you couldnt muster up enough perverted thoughts to get aroused over that visionunless of course i talk dirty or leave the end 9 inches of man sausage pertruding , pawned the tiara to pay for the pyjamas

Back to the footy and some first leg playoff results

Salford lead Stockport 1-0 in the first L2
The Mackems lead Luton 2-1 in Champ
Shef Wed got battered 4-0 by Petboro L1
Bolton Barnsley drew 1-1 L1

PLAYING TODAY
Carisle v Bradford L2
Coventry v Midsboro Champ

In other news ...... SCUNTHORPE Utd remain total sh8te

Bad news coming out of my beloved home town ...rumours circulating SUFC could well be folding as its TBA that the deal in which Mr Hilton bought the club will miss the deadline and the stadium will be lost .. ground share , go bust and start a phoenix club ala Bury could well be on the cards ... meeting on the 17th to air what being mooted followed by the 24th May deadline to close the deal...its not looking good.
